October 26, 201016 yr come join us who like radiohead because the people are nicer in radiohead people are nicer nicer shhhh just come god i hate how thoms fingers move in this.
October 26, 201016 yr I didn't even really notice how his fingers were moving until you mentioned it :surprised:
October 26, 201016 yr His voice seems to improve with age, hes gettin up there like 40 or so  thats as old as my mom!
October 26, 201016 yr 42 actually, as old as my parents :uhoh: And I agree, his voice just keeps getting better and better. And I must say, he has one of the most beautiful voices ever. It's borderline perfect. Listening to him sing all those songs live in The Basement made me come to that conclusion, haha.
October 26, 201016 yr I'd have to disagree. His voice was best during the Bends and has deteriorated. I mean you listen to songs like Paranoid Android and he can't sing them as well.
October 26, 201016 yr its amazing how good the quality was for the in rainbows from the basement vids. Even better then the album production.
October 26, 201016 yr I'd have to disagree. His voice was best during the Bends and has deteriorated. I mean you listen to songs like Paranoid Android and he can't sing them as well. Maybe Yorke wanted to change his voice for OK Computer to be more whinier idk.
October 27, 201016 yr He obviously can't sing those old songs as well as he could back then, but I feel his voice has matured or something....I think In Rainbows was his best album vocally.
October 27, 201016 yr I've always found Thom to be a very emotional singer. I never really think about his technical abilities. His voice is just believable and genuine, which makes up for any other shortcomings. I do think his voice was "sharper" in some of the early Radiohead songs. The vocals are really crisp in songs like High and Dry and Fake Plastic Trees. I don't know if they are still as sharp, but he still sings with as much passion.
July 19, 201115 yr There will be new Modeselektor & Thom Yorke songs out there soon!! Two new songs feat. Thom: 'Shipwreck' and 'This'. http://modeselektor.com/blog/3024/twt.html
July 20, 201115 yr :dozey: i like the title 'shipwreck' and i m curious about what it does sound like! maybe it would fit a 'the white flash EP'? we ll know the answer soon!
February 15, 201214 yr THOM YORKE WOOO!!! I can't write on the Radiohead thread cos it's closed, but I guess I can write it on here.# Have you heard Like Spinning Plates reversed? It's L-E-G-E-N-D-A-R-Y. Thom's voice is really cool too. here's a pic .hope it works! I LOVE RADIOHEAD AND THE ERASER.
February 16, 201214 yr Of course there's a Thom Yorke thread! Everywhere you go in the coldplay realm you'll hear Radiohead or Thom Yorke!!! I LOVE THOM YORKE. I love how he shuns publicity and tries his hardest to create the music he wants to create. he's very intelligent.
July 24, 201511 yr This thread needs to be revived. This is a precious thread about one of the most precious singer/songwriters I have ever listened to.
