god i hate how thoms fingers move in this.

I didn't even really notice how his fingers were moving until you mentioned it :surprised:

His voice seems to improve with age, hes gettin up there like 40 or so :confused: thats as old as my mom!

And I agree, his voice just keeps getting better and better. And I must say, he has one of the most beautiful voices ever. It's borderline perfect. Listening to him sing all those songs live in The Basement made me come to that conclusion, haha.

its amazing how good the quality was for the in rainbows from the basement vids. Even better then the album production.

Maybe Yorke wanted to change his voice for OK Computer to be more whinier idk.

He obviously can't sing those old songs as well as he could back then, but I feel his voice has matured or something....I think In Rainbows was his best album vocally.

I've always found Thom to be a very emotional singer. I never really think about his technical abilities. His voice is just believable and genuine, which makes up for any other shortcomings.

 

I do think his voice was "sharper" in some of the early Radiohead songs. The vocals are really crisp in songs like High and Dry and Fake Plastic Trees. I don't know if they are still as sharp, but he still sings with as much passion.
