Too early to tell yet who won what, but it looks like Obama has the north & north-central states, and the lower southern tier states; Hillary has the central-south, New York and Mass.+ California. The delegate count has narrowed considerably thus far, so Barack's chances keep improving..

Republicans are getting delegates regionally as one might predict - Romney in the west and north plains, Huckabee in the south-central, and McCain in the southwest primarily.. Earlier, McCain had a considerable lead, but that might be changing..

What exactly is Super Tuesday? Is this the day the country decides who'll be in the Presidential elections?

^there are primary elections in each state for the next 6 months. Super Tuesday is just the day when there are a lot of primaries

David, I wish it were so simple!! Impeachment is not in the cards, so we have to wait. He's a lame duck anyhow, but executive signing orders (unconstitutional) makes him a dangerous one at that..

First we have to narrow the field to just one offer per party. I'm hoping the candidates with less money behind them from corporate America get the nominations, but that's against probability. (one good reason for campaign finance reform that sticks)

And hopefully we can scale back the powers of the president - I'm thinking Barack Obama might be a more honest choice for that task, as well as Ron Paul, or even John McCain. It's sort of like hoping for a benevolent king at this point, but if congress sees lots of new faces, they might have the courage as well to take on the constitutionality of executive orders (ie - kingly powers).

Now, if you want, I think our immigration quotas from Great Britain are low enough that you (and your neighbors, family, and friends) could become US citizens! Once you've been here a while, you can return to England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, Jersey, or Guernsey, and vote from there! To show you how progressive we Democrats have become, we've even got polling places for the primary vote right in London or Paris! So now you haven't any excuse - join the Empire, Luke!:P

I'm so tired of hearing about all this. Of course, I have to be in the middle of it. My dad's involved in the Republican Party stuff a lot. The only stuff he ever talks about is the primaries. He's gone all the time and he talks to this bitch who's in it just because of the drama. She knows nothing about anything. She thinks that all gays should be shot and killed. She's mildly retarded, I think.

In my opinion, none of these people should be president because they all suck. And the next time I hear somebody call themselves "Hope for America" I will kill myself. I'm pretty sure that one year of any of these people will be the downfall of the United States. It has to happen eventually, eh?

The establishment backed runners (Clinton, Obama, McCain) will not talk about or address the real issues. They never bring up the major issue of the unconstitutional private Federal Reserve and their secret actions. They never talk about who is truely gaining money from the wars the west is waging. They never talk about the planned/signed legislation regarding the NAU...

 

It's a staged punch and judy show. All the "frontrunners" want the power. While any candidate who wants to keep the government out of the lives of people and limit their size is the victim of smear campaigns and false charges in the media...

And keep in mind - the Clintons and the Bush's are very close friends - the public 'fighting' about gays, terrorism (war on terror/muslims), abortion etc. is all fun and games. It's a trick - smoke and mirrors - so you don't get to see the way in which liberties are being snatched from you - they wrap everything up in false patriotism.
