Are you the same person on Coldplaying as you are off of it?

Featured Replies

Do you act differently when posting here or are you the same way in real life?

I think that most of the time on Coldplaying I act like I am off of it. Except for when I'm talking about how I want Eugene Hutz in my pants.

I'd never admit that to anybody out here...so keep it quiet, under wraps. Shh! :sneaky:

Yeah, I tend to be pervier on message boards. You guys bring out the worst in me.

I usually am a lot more open about how I feel about things here. It's easier to talk about things with people you don't really know. At least for me.

Same for me. I'm still the same person with the same values and opinions and personality and stuff but sometimes I'll say things I wouldn't tell people I know personally... just cause it's easier.

I'm still just as fucked up as I am online.

Maybe even more fucked up.

^See.....I don't see you as fucked up. I see you as very straighforward and wise and normal (but cool, not like boring normal).

i don't use the eff work in real life or on coldplaying.

I use it too often on and off this place.

But I try and keep it down around certain people.

Actually, i'm a 45 year old man who lives with his mother:sneaky:

anyway, i like to think that i'm the same here as in public. I try not to be fake.

I agree with you Emily about being open about how I feel here. None of my "friends" really listen to what i have to say and don't take me too seriously

Oh my. I always knew there was something weird about you! xD

I think that here I'm how I would be in public if I were surrounded by people like me...crazy people who like getting loud and dancing terribly. =D

No i have two personalities, one for on here, and one for real life.

Oh yes extremely!

i feel like i'm the same off and on the board. i find that pretty interesting, because the idea of an online alter-ego used to fascinate me. i still have half a mind to try it out, but i guess i'm on here so freaking much that it would be way too much effort to keep up a different persona.

the only difference between me on here and in real life is that i never say all the things i do about coldplay in real life--i would be mocked and shunned. and that's precisely why i love this place, or the number 1 reason why i love this place: i get to show exactly how much of a nerd i am because everyone else is the same way

i think i am the same here and IRL. i don't know why should i pretend to be someone else. *shrugs*

and i think in IRL i do say things i wouldn't say here - but only to those who really know me. mostly it's only jokes etc., because 98% don't get them and think i'm weird. o_O

well coldplaying is like a "3rd group of friends" for me....I mean there are things that I only can talk about with my friends in Bonn, things I only talk about with my friends at home and things I only talk about on coldplaying----

in general I am the same person here, as I am in real life

Im just as crazy here as when i am with my friends

Hmm..well i act quite the same. But I tell more private things about myself here than to my friends. I'm just kinda closed that way mwah. And as some of you have said : It's easier to say those things to people i'll probably never meet and don't actually know that well.

But i'm definitely just as wacko as in real life haha

The reasons I have given in the chatters thread

I guess i'm the same

I used to be alot louder on here than in real life, but I've been away so long I feel out of the loop, so am shy again :curtain:
