HOW TO GET TO HEAVEN WHEN YOU DIE

You need to actually explore the creationists side of the story. Did you know that the evolutionists were challenged to a nationally televised LIVE debate with Robert Gentry, creation scientist and they are too afraid to debate him. He said that they could have as many people as they wanted against him. Hovind routinely debated multiple evolutionists at the same time and wiped the mat with them.

I listened to Dr. Dino as a kid. Loved that guy.

*larfs*

You can also read his doctoral dissertation on wikileaks, it's SO lulz

Why don't you, instead of trying to convert people to one of hundreds of thousands of religious faiths out there, actually, like, make the world we live in better? Biomedical research is what I'm prone to suggesting.

Because according to the Bible, If they don't accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, they will have to spend eternity in hell. I don't want that and I know that they don't want that either.

You know they don't want that? Are you sure? What if you're talking to a group of Satanists? What then?

Baha.

I would rather hang out with about 90% of humanity burning in eternal agony and damnation than hang out in a heaven filled with a bunch of cocks who just believe in god or who did any of the countless immoral things in the Bible that your God approves of. Your god is immoral and wicked and highly unpleasant.

So funny but so sadistic

on the other hand, worship braddock and everyone is guaranteed eternal life, even if they don't believe in me till after death when i show them how i did the whole creation trick

it'll be like an episode of breaking the magicians code

Yeah I think if you're going to follow a particular religion/god/whatever, it should be because you truly believe in it, not because you are scared into following it because of what you are told would happen to you if you don't believe in it. That's kinda shitty.

+100

That's all religion ever is though, fear (and ignorance) it's desperation that there is something after death because people can't deal with death. If they think there is a nice shiny heaven for them at the end of it all then they can function, that's sad though, I'd much rather enjoy life knowing it was going to end, than coast through it thinking my best years would be after I died.
You rock. Couldn't have said it better myself.

I consider religion to be the brain's coping-mechanism for the reality of mortality, passed down from generation to generation. Otherwise, there would only be one religion. And if one generation doesn't like the explanation of one religion, another religion arises.

i presume the thread starter is a troll by the way, given the particularly 'pagan' username they have chosen.

they tend to hate harry potter and lord of the rings etc

Frodobaggins, you're such a terrible representative for Christianity.

I also think he's a troll.

Actually, JRR Tolkien was a devout Christian, along with CS Lewis. So Frodo Baggins certainly is not "Pagan".

hey, he's following the bible though

what more do you want from him?

Not all Christians interpret and follow the Bible literally.
