Right, so Coldplay aren't doing Coachella, Glastonbury, Isle of Wight, V Festival, T in the Park, or, well, any other fesitval that we know of (apart from Summer Sonic of course). So what are they going to do?

I hope they do some special gigs, no necessarily big ones (42 dates at the O2 anyone?), but shows in some unique places. From what little we've heard of their live show I imagine it would be quite hard to put it on at a festival where all you have to play with is, um, the stage.

Anyway, where would you like to see CP this summer?

Anywhere, as long as its in the lower half of the UK. It will be my first time seeing them, and I'm not gonna pass up any opportunity.

 

Exciting times, for sure.

i would like them to play CT (hartford is fine), NYC (madison square garden!) and philly so i'm SURE to see them in one of those places. they've played all those places in the past, so i suppose there's nothing to really worry about.

 

but if they're not going to come 'round here till late august, then i'd LOVE them to play harrisburg PA (very close to where i go to uni) simply for ease of travel.

 

but if we're talking having them play ANYWHERE...well then i'd like them to play my uni and my backyard :D

I don't delude myself as for a concert in Paris this year. I think i'll have to wait 2009 if they only play this year at various festivals. I wouldn't see myself going to Japan to see them even though i've never attended one of their concerts so far. :embarassed:

EXIT Festival (10-13 July) sounds good to me, especially because it is just 2 hours away from my home :D What's more, the second and the third day still don't have headliners ^_^

You can see in the past they didnt played, because they worked on new album, or they had a tour.

Hopefully they play All Points West, then I wouldn't have spent $250 just to see Radiohead twice.

im going to see them for sure sometime when they come to the states. Hopefully they come to Chicago but if they don't I will be going all out to see them live wherever it might be. I'm actually thinking of going to Tokyo since I have flight benefits n all
