TraceOddity
Personally, I would think that crumpets would make a nice side-dish...along with people! How come my upstairs neighbours only blast crap music (well, ok, they like the Hip, that's not bed.) If they'd crank up CP dnd RH, we'd all be friends here, lolol.

ApproximatelyInfinite
i can't say i know what crumpets are. i was always under the impression that they were what the british/europeans call english muffins, but i could be wrong. are these crumpets? if they are, they're interchangeable with english muffins and they're better toasted! of course, we'd have to watch them very carefully in the mushroom cloud there so they don't get too burned. RunForTheHills
Yeah, those look like crumpets to me :laugh1: Although they would probably be a tad overdone by the time the dust has settled.

TraceOddity
Crumpets aren't exactly like English Muffins or pancakes...they're a little more doughy. The beauty of them is how the butter seeps into all those little holes...YUMMY!:)
