Hello all! My name is Josh (who would have guessed?), I'm just about 16, livin' it up in Virginia, USA. I first found Coldplay about 2 years ago, and what I used to think made me a pretty devoted fan (owning all 3 LP's), now seems pretty wimpy to me, considering that I'm nearing my completion of Coldplay's complete discography.

My favorite Coldplay songs are: Fix You (it's emotion and build up can be matched by no other), and Yellow (with lyrics so breathtakingly pure and lovely).

My favorite bands other than Coldplay are: U2, Maroon 5, Jack Johnson, Oasis, and The Beatles. I hope you guys can introduce me to some other good artists while I'm here. :)

Outside of music, I enjoy playing Soccer (or Football) and Hockey. I also love hanging out with my friends, meeting new people, playing the piano, and playing WoW (yes, that's right, THE WoW). :P

If you ever wanna chat, I'm online all the time on AIM-Hokie4ever777.

Nice to meet you all!

Hello Josh! I had been a resident of the Commonwealth once - near Charlottesville. You're in the old capitol, I see! Glad you could join - plenty of mischief here, amongst the usual zanies!:hat::jester::sunny::guitarist::bandana:

Welcome Josh! I hope you'll like it here!

What's WoW?

Hello Josh, welcome to the boards. That was an excellent introduction.

I recently signed up too, and I hope you will have a great stay here.

Mimixxx-WoW is World of Warcraft haha. I hate saying it cause it sounds pretty geeky, but around 10 million other people love it as much as I do.

Edge89...you like the Edge huh?? I love U2!

Hello, Josh :D Welcome!!

Hello Josh!

I played WoW too, but it's just addictive:D

Hello josh!!! Welcome!!! :nice:

Edge89...you like the Edge huh?? I love U2!

I saw you greeted me in my own thread so I though I'd stop by to write something as well when I came across the reply quoted above.

"Like" is kind of an understatement. Worship is more like it but no words can describe how much I adore U2 and Edge in particular. He's been a huge influence on my guitar playing as has Johnny but not equally as much (...yet.?)

Take care!

Edited to add: You wouldn't happen to know where I could get some good Coldplay backing tracks to play along with, do you? I did a search on the forum but all I came across were expired links.

Usually if someone's around who has them, they're happy to re-upload if you ask.:)
