January 19, 201313 yr I'm not up north, I'm in the middle. However that may be north to you depending where you are... Anyway :P, it hasn't snowed today, but we got about 5 or 6 inches yesterday which is still here and is very slippy! How's the white stuff where you are? :P
January 19, 201313 yr No meaningful snow today (although there was a light patch around 2pm as the car windscreen was covered in snow after cleaning it off in the morning). The south is cold, anything which melted today has turned into ice, the pavements are a bit dodgy.

January 19, 201313 yr I've just heard a large bang, a van has skidded taking out one of the signposts for the controlled parking zone. No sign of the van though, nor of the sign.
January 19, 201313 yr What would be the point? No life is in danger and it's the council's fault for putting the sign in such a stupid place right on a sharp bend If anything, it's a 101 jobbie (I assume you have 101 up in the Midlands)
January 20, 201313 yr I WILL SEE KEANE IN FIVE DAYS!!!! :D George and I spent the whole day together :smug: when he asked what did I want to do, my brain decided to screw me up and said "hiking". I really really enjoy hiking, but i am in the worst shape ever!!! It was exhausting. A lot of fun, but exhausting. There was snow in the top of the mountain! Now I am just exhausted, and i hope my legs will not get all messed up because of the hike. :( there is no one in the pub... :( *gets some drinks* fine. I will get buzzed by myself :P
