i think it sends a bad message to their teenage fangirls. i mean they may think that because chris martin puts it on their cover that they should show off their nipples too

He returns!

I havn't actually given a thought on how embarrassing it will be buying the new record, but its a well known painting and I hope I wont be getting any dirty looks. Lots of people will be buying it, anyway.

So, we shouldn't expose younger people to fine art just because it has titties? What about Michelangelo's Davie? Better ban that too since it has a PENIS!!!

Yes...I said it...PENIS!

well, i think i would be ashamed. if i dont know the name of the picture of the album's cover. rome is full of penis, all the statues have it lol, if you still dont like it, maybe its gonna have the picture of the band on the other side, change it.

its a awesome title and cover.

when i had told my father about the album artwork... (he is also a Coldplay fan, and even used to post on the board, his user name in fact is 'vivacoldplay') what he didn't liked is the fact of had 'painted' the title on a known painting... he thinks that this will give the young people the wrong idea of do the same on museums :\

and i already said that 'nudity' and painting, arts in general are so 'connected'.

but really i don't mind what people will think about when i'll buy the album, what matters is the content not the cover.

that's unlikely to happen... young people who'd be likely to do that dont go to museums... Visitors are too respectful of arts !

and I dont mind buying something with exposed nipples on it

(no I do actually :embarassed:)

I can't believe how uptight people around here are about this album cover! Are you guys the types who wear suits to bed? :P
