There's one keyboard sound on it that I'm not fussy about either. We're probably thinking the same sound. It has an old DX-7 feel.

 

I think there's enough good in the song to make up for it, but I could have lived without some of the keyboard. (Sorry, Mr. Eno...I still worship you!)

i would say it's a b-side for a reason, but some of their best songs are b-sides.. hopefully it's just a grower.. it's certanitly got nothing on violet hill...

I downloaded a few of them and none of them sound like a good quality MP3.

(No offense to those who've tried to clean up the file. It's just hard to make the base material sufficiently better).

 

So I am still interested if anyone knows of a superior MP3 version of Rebel Yell...
