is life in technicolor just instrumental or does chris sing in it? also, do life in technicolor and DAAHF have the same exact melody... i dont get how they are like... the same song or w/e.

 

I think it's 99% instrumental, but I read you can barely hear Chris say something like "baby it's a violent world". An instrumental coldplay would be pretty sweet though, it would force them to not rely so heavily on Chris's voice for direction... I think the other members of Coldplay are talented enough to pull it off and make it powerful. Especially with Jonny's guitar leading the melody.

2.- I expect 42 to be "the fifth essence of music" - that song you have to hear before you die!!!

 

 

I was thinking exactly the same thing about 42! I’m really excited about that song, I think it could be the new “Yellow” or “Clocks” (or if it's true what Chris said even bigger) not in terms of how they sound, because I think it will sound completely different, but in that feeling that makes a song a “hymn”.
