I think I love you Carolyn.

Well, thank you! ;)

So, you live in the midwest, eh? I assume that you are out of high school. Are you at college now?

Yeah. I'm off for the summer now. Don't know what to do with myself so I'm getting stoned and posting on Coldplay message boards. Wanna make out?

While that is quite the impressive offer, I'm afraid I cannot. My boyfriend would not be too pleased to find me kissing my laptop screen. :laugh3:

You know what? I have a brother about your age, and he has said that he and his friends are pretty much in the same boat. They want to do something, but the options seem to be overwhelming.

I actually did not go to college after high school. I lived a pretty rough life. I ended up getting involved in heavy drug usage and insane, abusive relationships. I finally "woke up" the day of my 25th birthday. I was in a bad situation living with a man that abused me mentally and physically. My family and I had a strained at-best relationship. I had no friends, save for the peope that I used drugs with. I realized that day that I had always thought that what was best for me was actually the worst thing that ever happened to me. I left the bad situation, detoxed, and started a new path of life from square one.

Fast forward to today. At age 31 I finally realized what I wanted to do with my life. I enrolled in school for a healthcare adminitration degree, I work full time for a medical records company, have a group of people that I call friends that make me want to always be a better person, and a loving relationship that is fulfilling.

Anyway, what is it that you love to do? It could be a hobby or past time that you find yourself a part of. If gettng high is something you really enjoy, think of some careers that will incorporate that. Perhaps becoming a lawyer so that you can help change the laws or protect those that really, truly need marijuana. Perhaps you can look into lobbying for medical marijuana rights. Join NORML and get involved in events near you.

I don't know...just some suggestions...

Iwould like to be a dad one day

Ya know what..I have no idea.

Id like to travel...no idea what type of career Id like though..

Probably should have thought about it before I went to college though. :\

i'm thinking of becoming a teacher of foreign languages too. either german and french or german and spanish.

Wow, how many languages do you know? lol

I can picture being a languages teacher to be very fun

painter!

or drawer!

or some kind of artist!

i'd probably have to work for some company or sumthin' though.

Four. Having said that I feel like my French and my Spanish got worse because I hardly ever use it. I definitely want to spend some time in a country, where the language is spoken before doing the doing my PGCE.

A doctor but i won't be able to do it because i can't cut open a cadaver, it's a shame, i'm good at medicine. So im going to be a lawyer.

Studying Law? I am.. Some of its boring as shit. Dunno If I wanna be a lawyer to be honest. Only time I really felt the urge to be a lawyer was when I visited the courts and witnessed a trial. But during lectures its kinda....what am I doing here? :\

Aww, don't be lawyers guys!

We've got enough of those... Plus you don't have to do surgery to be a doctor. Check out House on TV, he's a diagnostician. Those dudes make a ton of money just figuring out what's wrong with people.

Career? Full-time musician.

Dream Career? Paid Full-time musician!:laugh3:

"We've" being America?? Ha..theres more to the world then the USA.

"We've" as in the whole world! I think Japan has like twice as many lawyers per capita as the USA does... for example.

Also politicians... God knows the world needs less of those leeches. :P

Wont argue with ya there. Keep the good ones..and get real jobs for the bad ones. See how they fare then.

Lawyers though..sure they're great people. :uhoh:

:smash:

Not ALL lawyers are evil,lol.:P

They're ALL evil...'cos they become judges and they talk for so long during cases..and I have to read about all the crap they talk about..and it puts me to sleep..and I have to remember their fancy sounding names...and then I have to remember what cases they were in. Oh and most importantly..I have to remember what gender they were. Always forget to find out before the exam. He said..I mean she said..I mean the Judge said. Ehh...

Hmmm....Morgan doesn't ring a bell...and I've read a good few Canadian cases. I think she's off the hook for now. However if she crops up and is responsible for me failing an exam I might have to reconsider her position.
