You know you're addicted to Coldplay when...

I'm not judging. If I'm in London anytime, I'm sure I'll dedicate a day or two to the Fleet Road. :vanish:

^ When a teacher plays a Coldplay song on the computer while you're away and one of your friends, who is there, texts you: "The teacher played a Coldplay song!"

But she cannot tell which one, although it's famous, she doesn't remember the title.

So when she comes to your house in the afternoon together with another friend, you start singing all of the most famous songs by them and you find out it's In My Place. She knew the song but, because she only heard its ending, she didn't recognize it.

...So you end up explaining your friends what ALWAYS happens at the end of In My Place. :charming:

The second friend says that "we know how far they can go, by now" (because of all the Buckin episodes I mention almost every day. usually the *softest* :P)

Then you say that, anyway, you keep finding some bromance in lots of bands... The second friend makes some examples of some male couples of friends which are very *close*, but you say that they'll never be like the Buckin until...

...

One of them touches the other's butt :blank:

The second friend: "WHAT?! They touch each other's butt? :stunned:"

She THOUGHT she knew everything. But she didn't. :P

^BUCKIN COMMENTS^ (do not read if you're too susceptible about it xD)

And when a friend (the *second friend*, actually) complains about you for the thousands time you mention Chris even if you're talking about something totally different, saying:

Is he God or something?!

In that moment I thought: "Well... More or less!"

When you analyze Violet Hill for an English project...and realize that the only reason you passed was because it was on something you care about

And this God puts a smile upon our faces :D :D

when you hear Just like Heaven by the Cure and think of Hurts Like Heaven, kinda sound a bit the same, not saying it's stolen.

Hahahaha, oh, my god, YES, I've done that, too, with "Just Like Heaven"! I was wondering if I was the only one!

...I'd kinda like to hear Coldplay cover that song now, actually.

This happens with my mom all the time, too. She'll hear a song, or at least THINK she heard a song, either by Coldplay, or by another band I like, somewhere, and she'll tell me about it. If she can remember lines, she'll write them down or try singing them, or she'll say, "It was an older/newer song, I think", and then like you I start rattling off song titles until we figure out what it is.

 I hope you're having a better day, too, by the way :).

when you wanna cry because chances are slim that you will ever meet Coldplay and get to hug them!

If only I lived close enough to visit the Bakery and the Beehive :(

I know this feeling . *Looks at her location and tries to will it to change to something close to that area*

When your ticket to the Coldplay show you're attending in a bit less than 6 months is on your desk, and you make sure you ALWAYS see it among the mess, so that you're sure you won't lose it!

When your MX Pop-up edition is one of the first things you see when you enter your room, and you always give it a smile, like you're saying hello to one of your friends :laugh3:

I taped the envelope to my mirror! If I lose them I'll never forgive myself! And the vinyl from my MX popup is framed and hanging in my room. It's the first thing I see every morning :)

I'll be VERY dilligent with my ticket to my show. It's going to be so protected one wouldn't be surprised to see a forcefield and tape or whatnot around it .

You know you're addicted when you see this clip online:

http://thenjunderground.com/blog/2012/3/3/video-bruce-springsteen-neil-young-jimmy-fallon-cover-lmfaos.html

and a certain video and singer immediately pop into your head :D.

(I hope this can work for people outside the U.S., if not, hopefully someone can figure out how to work it so it shows up, 'cause it really is quite funny)

When your friends ultimately narrow down the reasons why your sad/not talking to something about Coldplay.

SHE'S NOT TALKING BECAUSE COLDPLAY'S NOT HERE! Pssshhh... :P

OMG Angela.. It definitely worked outside USA.. LOL! that made me laugh so much... thank you I did need that.

And I haven't GOT my tickets yet.. panic.. :o Oh I hope we get them soon, it's only three months... But I do have my ticket confirmation CLAMPED to my fridge! So I do see it pretty much every time I need a cuppa.. and that's pretty much hourly! :laugh3: (well I AM English :laugh3:).

When someone asks the Oracle if Jonny's ever considered releasing his own signature guitar and you fear you might actually lose sleep over the possibility!:D

Haha, bug surprise, eh?

It really is mostly about his playing.;) (mostly)

When I made my last CD about six years ago, I started exploring more electric rhythm and lead playing, as well as a lot more piano playing as a result of listening to Coldplay so much. I'm not at either of their level, imo, but both Chris & Jonny inspired me to think and play outside my musical box. I'm a better guitarist today for having started really listening to Jonny's playing.:D

And yeah...he's pretty cute,lol.

Hooray! I'm glad!

Yeah. I was cracking up pretty good over that. Of all the people to join in, eh?

(...now I REALLY want to hear Coldplay themselves do that song. Am I alone in this thought?)

There ya go, then, that works :). Have you got your safekeeping place for your tickets set for when they do come?

And that staring back at you from the fridge each day can't possibly add to your growing excitement at all, can it ?
