When you're watching 'The Big Year' (if you've never watched it, it's about bird watchers) and 'Viva La Vida' comes on and everyone in the room turns and stares at you.

When your in the music section in Barnes and put all the coldplay cd's together from when they were released. I did this yesterday- they were all over the place. My friend just looked at me and said I was crazy but very considerate for someone looking for their music.

When you're at the bank and VLV comes on and you smile and the teller asks you why you're smiling and you say "Cuz they're playing Coldplay!"

When you buy things that aren't necessarily coldplay merch but look like they could be, like i bought a picture from nic nac store, they're paper cut out butterflies with paint splatter on them :3

When your neighbor tells you to turn down "all that sound" you're playing, and you reply "All the lights... and all that sound..."

When you go to a famous ice-cream parlour in your region with your parents, and as you enter the garden where the tables are, you hear the notes of ETIAW welcoming you and your terrible mood disappears, so you start smiling as wide as you can while you tell your dad to listen in a smuggy tone; he doesn't understand so you yell: "But it's COLDPLAY!!! :cool::smug::D"

 

When you can barely keep yourself from singing along, but you do only because you know there are people around you who may know your parents

 

When you realize that someone had paid for that song because the source of the music was a jukebox, so you feel doubly happy :D

 

When you spend 25 cents to play that song again on it before you leave the place (because it was the only Coldplay song on it, otherwise I would've chosen another one :P)

 

When you know that everything's not lost because there's still Coldplay with you :heart:

When you feel sick because you haven't Coldplayed in a while :(

When there is a huge grin on your face,

just thinking about your concert next week.

When this kind of story has already happened to you:

We were in the car, it was during the holidays, and I was listening to Coldplay on my mp3. The song ends and suddenly I recognize DLIBYH coming from the car radio! It was playing for over a minute at least already! I said: "HEY!!!IT'S COLDPLAY ON RADIO AND YOU DIDN'T EVEN TELL ME ??!!!PUT THE VOLUME UP!!!!" and scared the hell out of my dad who was driving & got a bit confused for a second :lol:

 

I must train my parents better than that :whip: My dad recognizes Coldplay's biggest hits most of the time, but he still fails at recognizing Chris' voice in songs he's never heard. As for my mom...well she doesn't recognize Coldpaly at all :disappointed:

^ That's so typical of our parents :nod: When I'm listening to a song, whatever that is, if it's sung by a male voice, my dad or my mum shout at me: "It's Coldplay, as ever! :dozey:", and every time I have to reply: "No, it's not Coldplay!"... Or they always say: "You always listen to Coldplay! Try listening to someone else! I think your love for Coldplay prevents you from knowing more music!", and every time I have to tell them: "I listen to other people too! Just because they're not Italian, it doesn't mean they're Coldplay!" :facepalm:

But when there really is a Coldplay song playing on a radio or something, and I tell them: "OOOH LISTEN! :awesome:" most of the time they answer: "So what? :confused:"

Ah, silly parents.

When someone's flipping through the radio in the car and I hear part of a Coldplay song so I gasp and everyone turns to me and says "was that Coldplay?"

When you wish 'happy birthday' to a schoolmate on Facebook whom you don't even know too well, although you know she's very nice, and she comments: "Thanks coldplaygirl :P" totally surprising you

When you hate the music that the chalet on the beach that is in front of your holiday house broadcasts so your mum makes a Coldplay CD and give it to the owner :D

When you buy glow in the dark laces for your new shoes
