Anyone know what's going on with the Salt Lake show? Live Nation used to show an on-sale date of tomorrow (6-14-2008), but now there is no info. Wonder if the on-sale date has been pushed back?

Salt Lake City Show - Nov. 22nd - HELP!

First of all, I apologize if this has been posted before, I'm very new here. :)

Does anyone know when the SLC tickets go on sale? I've spoke to both Live Nation and Tickemaster and they are clueless. Originally, they were suppossed to go on sale yesterday, the 14th at 10 am (according to livenation.com), but that was not true. Ticketmaster even told me that they are not selling tickets for the show. Does anyone know where to get tickets and when they go on sale?

Thanks!

Jenn

I don't know what's going on with the tickets....The Energy Solutions Arena has Coldplay listed on their events page, but yeah, like you two above me have said, there has been nothing regarding ticket sales, I can't find anything. I don't want to miss out on tickets if I missed some memo or something!

Okay...Ticketmaster has the tickets up for sale thursday the 26 (tomorrow!) at 10:00 am.

Is anyone going? i can't wait!

A bunch of friends are going so its going to be amazing.

The only think im kinda sad about is their un-imaginative setlist with no change or surprise factor

and those remixes

and i would love to hear the scientist in its original form too.

other than that the show shoudl kick ass

My friends and I are leaving in about an hour to hit the road to SLC! I'm so excited!!!

does anybody know when does the concert end?

i have to catch 22:48 trax and get the last UTA 220...

it will probably end at 11 or so. i dont think 10 48

concert starts at 730 with sleepercar. im guessing theyll end about 8, 815 add an hour more or less for setup coldplay starts at 9. im thinking 11

I liked prospekt march, specially life in technicolor II, glass of water, prospekt/poppyfields.

hopefullly theyll debut either one of those 2 songs (excluidng glass of course since it has already been played)

anyone think they'll susprise us?

here's what the salt lake tribune had to say:

Coldplay brings Vida to SLC

Show of the week » The band that aspires to be The Only Band That Matters (sorry, U2 and The Clash) will be in Salt Lake City for its world tour in support of its "Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends" album.

Despite earlier success with singles like "Clocks," "Yellow" and "Speed of Sound," the British quartet blew up this year with its first No. 1 hit in America, "Viva la Vida," which eschewed the normal conventions of what top-40 hits sound like by employing an orchestra and using very little guitar.

Country-rockers Sleepercar and Electronica artist Jon Hopkins open. Hopkins worked as a producer on much of Coldplay's latest album and a Coldplay EP out Nov. 25.

He said in an interview with The Salt Lake Tribune that during the production of the album, the band asked him if he would open for it later. He thought it was a joke, but Coldplay asked again as it prepared to tour.

For the tour, Hopkins will be spinning turntables synchronized to "psychedelic" visual effects, he said, and he is "finding [himself] more relaxed" as the tour progresses, since he is not used to huge arena crowds.

When » Nov. 22 at 7:30 p.m.
