oooh, will read amsterdam? i just finished that! saturday is my all time favorite ian mcewan book though. god, i love that book.

 

I think so yes - I remember someone asking him if they named the song after McEwan's book, but they didn't. Saturday is great also. In fact I don't think you can go wrong with any of his books! Enduring Love is great. I love how he writes about what the weather's like or what someone's eating, then he suddenly drops a bombshell like, "so and so killed someone".

 

I think in all my years posting on this forum, that is the most off-topic I have ever gone.

here's a wee idea for ben......you see how u've already done the interview...but people outside of this forum think you are doing it tonight....what u should do is have cardboard cut-outs of guy,jonny & chris...and they could all be giving the webcam a thumbs up so people think they are actually there :D you dont want ur listeners to think ur lying do you?... :sneaky:
