Any Idea of What Songs (Besides VLV) Coldplay Might be Doing? What Songs do you want?

Featured Replies

Besides VLV, I would want:

1. Clocks (always wanted to see it in person)

2. TALK

3. Fix You

4. Opening to the 2003 Live Tour for the intro (LOVE THAT)

5. In my place

6. Scientist

7. A Message

8. Speed of Sound

9. Don't panic

10. Trouble

What about ya'll?

If Life In Technicolor sounds as good as it does from the rough cut, it would send shivers down my spine to listen to it in concert!

I'd like to hear In My Place, Shiver and Fix You.

OOh, interesting...

my perfect setlist would be ...

- Intro with Yellow

- Then into VLV

- Lost

- Slow it down with some early stuff, like See You Soon

- Shiver

- Violet Hill

- Viva la vida

- God put a smile upon your face

- Sparks

- Clocks

- Finish with Fix You

:nice:

*daydreams about live gig*.....

If they use Shiver I would die, allways wanted to listen to it live:):D

surprise us with Famous Old Painters and Glass of Water like with Moses and One I Love in '03

i heard them play Shiver live many moons ago... *sigh*

But I didn't really appreciate it back then, as the only album they had released was Parachutes... :laugh4:

Besides the VLV album of course, my set list is as follows:

Yellow

Square one

Warning Sign

Shiver

Talk

Clocks

Amsterdam! I want to hear that live so badly. And Such a Rush, Clocks, Polotik.

I would also love to hear Life in Technicolor from the new album. I am only going to have about 2 weeks with the new album before I see them in Philly.

I'll come back here when the album is released and I have heard every song a lot of times - so I can tell you my opinion on the perfect Viva La Vida Tour Setlist!!!

cheers!!

I don't really care what they'll play, as long as they play AT LEAST a 90-minute gig.

The gigs on the last tour where a bit short imo. I mean, come on, they are one of the biggest bands in the world today.

I would like to hear

Warning Sign

Scientist

A Message

Arobtth

Clocks

daylight

politik

amsterdam

and songs of vlv...

but i agree with RadioMad... i hope theyre playing 90 min., leastwise...

Hopefully some more Parachutes and some AROBTTH songs (Don't Panic, Shiver, GPASUYF, Amsterdam, etc.), not much X&Y songs (maybe only Square One, White Shadows, A Message) and ofcourse they'll play the new songs.

I'll probably love the concert, doesn't really matter what they're playing. I just hope they'll do not only the big hits (Yellow, Clocks, Fix You, Talk), but some other (older) stuff too.

Scientist

Till Kingdom Come

In My Place

Fix You

Yellow

...they could sing the alphabet and I wouldn't care.

They should play a bit longer, Twisted Logic concerts were too short for a band like Coldplay. And they should mix up their selection of Parachutes and AROBTTH songs a bit more. I can understand that they don't play songs like Shiver, Spies, Everything's Not Lost, Green eyes etc. every night, but it would be nice to hear them more often.

I'm a bit afraid that the "stage show" will be so big, that it won't allow for regular changes in the set list.

I'm dying for a good two hours of playing time. And praying for good health for all Coldplay's members. Espically Christopher, no sore throats or nothing.

I'm fairly easy about the setlist, except for one thing, they have to play Clocks. :D Clocks live is just the best thing ever. nothing like the goosebumps it gives you when they start to play it. oh, and bring back the green laser or the pretty colours and dump the icky red laser please.

If they don't play it, I'll have the world's biggest strop. Forget toddler tantrums, this'll be a million times worse.

I just hope they mix up the setlist a bit from night to night as I'm seeing them three times in a two week span!
