Perhaps any multi-storey car park in the area? I'm toying with the idea to drive to Hamburg by car, because the arena is situated in the suburb of Hamburg. winnie Posted May 28, 2008 Share Posted May 28, 2008 Parking should be okay there, there's plenty of space as long as there's nothing goin' on in the HSH-Nordbank-Arena. Using Park-and-Ride-service is recommended, though - there's always a shuttle-service between the nearest S-Bahn-station and the arena and using public transport should be for free with THAT ticket prices ;) by the way: you get there by public transport this way (if anybody is interested) Hamburg Central Station -> take the [direction Elbgaustraße] OR [direction Pinneberg] until the station called Stellingen.go downstairs, follow the ARENA-Signspass the tunnel -> there's the shuttle bus-station [attention: shuttle-service starts approx 1-2 hours before the concert begins!]If you're there earlier or just want to go afoot keep on following the ARENA-Signs, you should be there in 1/2 to 3/4 hours Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I remember that I once visited a football game in the AOL-Arena (now HSH-Nordbank-Arena) which is next to the Color Line Arena and it took me at least 30 minutes to reach the S-Bahn station Stellingen afoot, because the shuttle-buses were overcrowded. It was the same after the Roger Waters concert. flom Posted May 29, 2008 Share Posted May 29, 2008 Hoffentlich hat der HSV kein Heimspiel an dem Tag, dass würde sonst wieder ne katastrophale Parplatz Situation werden. Auch wenn ich wie zu allen Heimspielen auch mit der Bahn zum Konzert kommen werde.
