it would be cool if they brought out an album of all those other songs they annouced but didnt make the cut on this album

a greatest hits would be nice - the 3 singles from the 1st 3 albums, plus from this album - vh, vlv, lit... and moses, lunar & see you soon

my dad send me a link to that news.. i had checked it on wiki and apparently there was listed an album to be realised in 2009, with the letters: TBA

but now there's nothing about it on wiki :uhoh:

 

it would be great news and i honestly hope that it would contain coldplay new material (you know the songs that are not in VLVODAAHF) better than a greatest hits album.

I'd like a proper album too... not a compilation... but if I think we don't have to worry about it, cause a greatest hits might have 2 or 3 new songs but they said they have so many good tracks not yet finished and that means, quoting Guy, 'another album ready to go'

CP did go back in the studio to record new material just a few weeks back - remember in NME the "Flotsam and Jetsam" that Jonny said was "a few ideas" they had. I reckon that's code for an EP or something to be released midway through the tour to rekindle interest before they hit the big stadiums in Europe in 2009. Then a proper new album at the end of 09 to, as they said, to give the decade a good sending off.

But I hope we get Famous Old Painters, Rainy Day, Postcards From Far Away, Glass Of Water, Prospekt's March et al before then.

No one believed the crazy New Yorker but i knew it.
