crazyitalian1988
So here is my biggest complain about the album other than I wish they just made it 13 tracks long rather than double tracking. I feel that because Viva La Vida and Violet Hill were released early, not only did I not realize how awesome the songs actually are when listening to the entire album, but they also are relatively overlooked in anyone's top songs. While I think the entire album is amazing, there is not a doubt in my mind that they are both in my top 5 out of 13, Viva La Vida facing off with "Yes" and "42" for my top spot. It was worth having the songs early to promote the hype, especially with such killer songs remaining; however, does anyone wish they could have heard Viva La Vida and Violet Hill for the fist time with the rest of the album? Bonus_mosher
yeahhh, I was thinking that. I can't listen to those tracks at the moment at all because they're old news
Saffire
Viva la Vida fits better with the whole album imo. Violet Hill is still my least favorite song on the whole CD, which is remarkable given the fact it was the first single.

ApproximatelyInfinite
i think they should have still released viva la vida, but kept violet hill under wraps. i think VLV was a better indicator of what's to come, and they pretty much had to release something, so i think VLV should have been it. at the time, however, i would have said GIVE ME ALL THE TRACKS YOU CAN NOW. i don't regret hearing them, because they quenched my coldplay thirst and shut me up for a bit, but yeah, i wish they released ONE album track with TWO b-sides. that would have been perfect. KileyRN
I haven't listened to VLV or VH once since I've heard the others, but I must mention that I had listened to both songs enough that I have to make up for it with the others. :D I'm listening to the entire album all the way through right now... thejackdempsie
yeah i've been skipping over those two tracks for the past couple days. violet hill remains my favorite though. so it's just on a time-out for a little while. it'll be even better when it comes back. I believe thats what you expect when you listen to Leaked singles of the album.

StarsKay
i would like to know why they chose to release 2 songs at the same time and perhaps a lot has to do with the way they promoted the album :\. like vh was available through email from their site, and vlv was made available to those who pre-ordered the album from itunes, so using those strategies to get it out there kinda would set those 2 aside from the rest of the album. afterall they had to release something. releasing the same track wouldn't make sense. i haven't heard the album, like few others who have chosen to hold off for the official release, but i haven't heard those 2 tracks excessively and still love them. i've definitely grown to appreciate vh since at first it wasn't impressive, vlv on the other hand was and still is amazing :D
johnnymax865
that's the problem with first singles I think... I'm now skipping VH sometimes although it's just perfect hearing it between vlv and ss, it sounds different... but I'm not skipping viva la vida at all, when it starts after CSC I'm still fascinated by it and have to hear till to the end
Mara18
I don't know I didn't like vlv first than it grew on me and now I am skipping it again, vh is a beautifull song and I really wich that I hadn't heard it befoure I heard the album, but it's a single and I am greedy. :P
winigwl
i wish they hadn't released viva so early cuz thats a lot better than violet hill and i might have slightly killed it but i'll be fine as for the 13 tracks thing. they are trying to give the consumer more for their dollar if you're an itunes individual song buyer
