Some of the lines we've been debating... aren't what I expected to say the least.

i brought the clocks single which was imported from japan....and it had lyrics..i think it on there simply to translate

Some lyrics I didn't expect there, assuming this is official...

 

Violet Hill:

"My nerves are poles that unfroze" is that so hotly-debated line, not "my love's opposed, but unfolds"

 

"And the fox became God", not fog

 

Yes:

"Sin, stay gone", not "since they gone"

 

and a couple of other totally uncleared up ones, like on Cemeteries of London: "victorian ghosts pray"

Yeah, I noticed he said that in the live version of Violet Hill, the Netherlands gig, I think. Certainly doesn't sound like it on the record though.

Those lyrics are from the official booklet though, as well as the english lyrics.

After the second "Locust wind..." part of "Reign of Love", the booklet has "...", but he's clearly saying something... Strange.

 

Edit: But I've re-listened to all the other debated lines, and the booklet seems to be correct.

is the black cover the booklet only? is it quite thick? looks like it coudl be thick and not just few sheets sstapled?

here are more...you prob seen all of these

so (for the last time), the gatefold edition has lyrics AND booklet art that we just saw here right? or will every edition be like this? Most of the art on the cover (front and back) and inside pics remind me alot of Rush of Blood. Even the look of the case and CD look epic!!! :)

well i think that japan will be the only place to have lyrics on just for the fact they can translate....i got a cd which was imported from japan (clocks single) and that also had lyrics
