June 11, 200818 yr Coldplay's new album is out tomorrow and set to send Leona Lewis flying off her Year's Biggest Album pedestal. Viva La Vida or Death And All His Friends is thundering towards No.1. And online retailer Play.com says one copy is being snapped up every minute at peak times. Yet we fear this heady news may have sent the chaps doolally. Their fourth album is heavily influenced by ghosts and ghouls. And Chris Martin says he is now fascinated by things that go bump in the night. He said: "I have had one experience in Wales. I woke up and there was this sort of hot air moving around the end of the bed. And it wasn't Jonny just doing a fart." Sounds like he's heading down the Robbie Williams UFO route... He goes on: "Ghosts are supposed to be people who haven't found their final place, right? And we just thought it would be funny to spend your whole life trying to get to heaven and then you get to the gates and they say, 'You didn't quite make it'. And that kept popping up in my head, the idea of not being on the guest list." But, hey kids, apparently there's also a lighter side to the album - which Chris, Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman and Will Champion will showcase at a free gig at Brixton Academy on Monday. A short tour also follows but as Mr Martin told Clash magazine: "We don't want it to go on too long as some of the band start to go mental... " Indeed. "In any industry there's gonna be people who are addicted to something, it's only that there aren't that many plumbing magazines to interview people in." June 11, 200818 yr HEY!, I read the mail, but I much prefur the daily express, haha, anyway the mail gave viva la vida or death and all his friends 3 out of 5 which isn#t that good but they did say that it was a good album!!!1 hehe, and their true but i would have given it 5 stars, one of the best albums ever made!

Anyway Chris's house is supposed to be haunted, or so ive read. Ive had a few rough experiences with "ghosts" and it wasnt nice. But forget living with them no matter how nice the house maybe.
