I just don't even care. It used to bother me that I seemed to be the only person without a boyfriend, but then I realized it wasn't really important.

 

Now I get to laugh at all the people who say they're in love but really aren't. And the ones that talk about how miserable their boyfriends make them. It's fun.

Yeah, a whole load of girls are like obsessed with boyfriends and the day after they're going out their msn says "I LOVE YOU [insert name here]!!!!"

There are so many people out there dating for all the wrong reasons. Almost certainly the majority, in fact.

yeah, its pretty much just my circle of friends who dont do that, we just stay away fomr the superficial dating thing altogether

 

But we still have guy friends, but they're all freaks anyway lol

I would very much like to believe that not all men are thoughtless or stupid or whatever, I've just met so many who are like that!

 

I work in an environment where I see many high-profile managers and successful business men on a daily basis, and the lack of social skills among them is often just unbelievable.

 

Someone said 'think along the lines of Chris Martin' - well - I'd like to believe that he's a genuinely nice guy, but then I don't know him, and he could be a pain in the arse to live with as well :P
