Mods, I couldn't find the "complain about men thread" so if you want, merge it with it when you find it.

My best guy friend wanted to go out with me but I said no and he recently started dating this girl. I was talking to him on MSN and he said "stop talking, Alie just signed on" and I was like

"So when your gf in online you just go shut everyone else out!"

and he said "yeah, I've been doing that for ages"

LIKE WTF?!?! His stupid GF cant see that Im online! How the fuck does him talking to her change what I am! I hate how guys are so thoughtless!! He's my FUCKING best guy friend and when his Gf is online I'm some sort of pest!

I just whish he'd come to his bloddy senses...jerk.

Great! I feel alot better now! Anyone want to vent with me, it could feel great!

I guess the problem with friendships between men and women is that you can never be quite sure what the guy's motives are... If he wanted to go out with you, he probably fancies you, and if you turned him down, he's probably hurt or his pride is hurt, and he is going to treat you bad for a while...

He'll either get over it and focus on the friendship, or he only ever pretended to be your friend because he wanted you to be his girlfriend. It's happened to me several times...

unfortunatly in todays society of chavs, pretty boys, players where its cool to get a shit heap of a car and in a vain attempt to make it look racey make it look even worse by moding it thats all you can expect. A lot of guys today seem to think playing girls, cheating on them, hitting them, talking to them like a piece of dirt is cool and makes them respected amoung mates. In this country it has become the norm. I never use the word hate as its a strong word by i have untold ammounts of hate for these people because i have a huge ammount of respect for women. Im not a violent person and ive never hit anyone but im looking for a excuse the thump one of the above. They have no respect these days. Sorry to rant but cant stand it.

Approach him about it. Maybe his gf see's you as a threat and has forbidden him to talk to you, more often than not that is the case.

^ I agree 100%. Especially the guys around my age, total jackasses. :dozey:

I'm sorry your guy friend ruined your night, Miss Snicket. I guess he can't seem to concentrate on more than one person?

Here.

Ok, so can we vent in this thread? :stunned: There's this guy, and he drives me crazy, but not in the good way. We've been going around in circles for like a year, and he keeps getting my hopes up and then crushes me. :bigcry: He's a huuuge flirt, and I hate it. And he seems to like a new person every week, but when they turn him down, who does he come back to? :dozey: ME. And me being the [stupid] thoughtful and caring person I am, I forgive him, because he says the cutest things ever and we can talk for hours and I'm digressing. Anyway, he totally took the fun out of Grey's Anatomy [my favorite show!] because we got in a fight and I still can't watch the season finale without feeling sad [Yes, the one where they played Death And All His Friends!] BUT the icing on the cake, the straw that broke the camel's back, happened last saturday. He falls head over heels for one of my friends and tries to use my phone to get her number! But he's a big sissy and didn't do it, so now he's harrassing me for her number. :dozey: And he knoooows that I like him, and it's killing me.

I can go on all day about the stupid shit's he's done to me, but you'll probably lose interest.

Wooo, that did feel good.

That totally sucks but that's not something only guys do, girls do the same and i can tell from experience( not about msn but real life experience) . I think i mentioned this before long ago but i had this close friend she was pretty much like my best friend and we used to hang out all the time til she met this guy and they were dating, i didn't mind too much but she totally changed. She would treat me like a pest whenever her bf was around and she didn't have more time to hang out with me and i remember i was going through something sad and personal and she knew about it (cos she was my best friend or so i thought) so i was talking to her on the phone and she was like " aw,.sorry but can we talk about this some other day? my bf just sent me some sms and i have to go, bye *hangs up*"

No comments to that but ouch :disappointed: We had been friend for like 4 years and she'd met that guy for no more than 3 weeks! bah it totally sucked but guess what? the minute he broke up with her, guess who wanted to hang out with me again? bah, i avoided her for a while and finally decided to end that friendship. Not every girl is the same though, i had another friend who did all the opposite but that's a diff story.

Ah sorry to hear that Knight.

I think it's healthy when you have a relationship (guys or girls: pay attention!) to introduce your gf/bf to your circle of "regular" friends and hang out with them as much as possible. Because otherwise you're making your life like a file cabinet, where there's a drawer for relationships and a drawer for friends. Each category should reinforce the other.

But obviously you need some alone time with your gf/bf. This goes without saying.

Is there a chance he's shoving this relationship in your face and blowing you off as a way of making you jealous? He did ask you out first.

well, i lost a friend because of that. She only spent time with her new bf and totally forgot everything about us(= old friends). But dang, after she wasn't doing that well with her bf she wanted to talk to me again and all that bullshit.

I haven't even seen her for a year now..

Im sorry that so many girls and women believe all guys are jerks. Believe it or not, there are some guys who just genuinely care about their friends and girlfriend. Not all guys are thoughtless jerks, and not all guys only want sex all the time. Boy I must sound like Im gay, but think of me more on the lines of Chris Martin. I can be a good person and like girls. What a shocker:o

*throws fridge at Matt* (The stupid best guy friend of mine)

What an ass...its so gay cus all he does at school is talk to his gf and sit with her! Like "hello! Don't other people deserve some attention!"

BTW, when I say 'Guys are so thoughtless' i mean guys, as in 13-18 year old guys, not men or anything.
