I've only requested time for tomrrow and Friday, so unfortunately I can't wait in line tonight. If I do win VIP tickets or still have my room for Thursday night, I might camp around the Daily Show building to see if they still have additional/stand by tickets in...

Just got up after making it home from the MSG show + a day in New York. AND I'm heading back to the city today, regardless if I win these passes or not.

That was my plan. The original date was 6/26. That is when I am going to NYC. I'm only 1 hour 15 minutes away. I swear the date was 6/26. I saw it on EMI's website and The Daily Shows website about a month ago. But then it surfaced a few days ago that its actually 6/25. That was my plan---get to the city tomorrow and wait around the studio and hopefully meet one or all of them.

 

Now I'm planning to get there tomorrow and enjoy the city, get to the Today Show early Friday to get a good spot....hopefully win those VIP passes. I wish I knew where they were staying. The very posh Waldorf Astoria is mere blocks away....I wonder...

I couldn't sleep so I got up and made a sign to thank Ian and say hi to everyone on here....just in case I win... :rolleyes:. And a "I :heart: Jonny" t-shirt modeled after the famous I :heart: NY shirts but using the heart from coldplay.com...lord lead me not into temptation :P

I'm sure Chris is staying at his house, with his woman and kids. I know they have used the W before, but since they are in NY so often, they might all have apartments there.

surprisingly, i was able to sleep. i had crazy coldplay-themed dreams, but i was able to sleep after reading for about two hours to calm me down.

 

i guess what's keeping me going is the fact that i'll be there anyway, somewhere, VIP or not. that's still something to TOTALLY look forward to :D

 

i get more pessimistic as the minutes tick away, though.

I woke up, reached over to hit my alarm clock, and accidentally grabbed two lanyards with casino cards attached. I nearly stubbed my toe and broke my back frantically looking for my glasses thinking that, I dunno, the tooth fairy left me two VIP passes... oh boy :P

I just got back from NYC at 4 this morning after an awesome day in the city after the show...and now my friends and I are heading back at 6 PM tonight! Winners announced right after the contest ends at 3:30, I hope? Otherwise I'm not sure what I'm going to do! I've been going crazy thinking about this contest for the past two days.
