June 25, 200817 yr from what i understand, 25 coldplayers will win two passes each, so they'll each get to bring a guest. if this close pen is coldplayers only, then it'll just be 50 people! you can't get much better than that. also from what i understand, if the band are feeling generous and in good moods, between songs/commercial breaks/etc, they just might come out to give autographs and take pictures etc. let's just hope the early hour doesn't make them too cranky :P ohhhh my goodness, so nervous!

Haha... well I am glad to put a smile on someone's face today! I read somewhere online (while doing a random Coldplay search during work hours :P) that some of the NYC radio stations might also be holding contests for VIP passes to the Today Show as well. I glanced at it quickly so I could have been mistaken! Ack! 16 hours to go!

June 25, 200817 yr so im relatively new to this since i very rarely post things on forums. I visit this page quite frequently(aka every 5 and a half minutes). I just registered for the VIP spots and am quite nervous. in the novel i sent i explained how i hadnt won tickets to msg and now im gonna have to spend the entire night in line and i still wont be able to see the whites of their eyes. how unfortunate. i hope i win. will they tell us if we won before the deadline if they felt our stories are quite touching? wishfull thinking, i suppose.

So I'm in, VIP or not. How insane is that shit. :laugh3: Maybe if I don't win some kind soul on here will take pity on me and take as their guest. Last time I did spur of the moment Coldplayness was ticket to Phoenix, which came back to bite me on the ass. :cry: But the spur of the moment has also worked out well for me. I drove 5 hours just to see the taping of Austin City Limits then 5 hours back home and that was awesome.

Not to mention the fact that I am working that night and will have to try and sleep on the plane back so I won't be totally brain dead that night. I looked at it like this. I wanted to go to Toronto shows for my birthday in October, but they moved the dates. I had money set aside for that trip, so that's what I'm using. Not a full concert but VIP tickets and a chance of meeting them trumps 2 shows in Toronto. pleeeeeease Ian
June 25, 200817 yr ahh, well i'll be training in, but yes, the train tickets for three themselves will cost about $80 when all said and done. i think that's a freaking BARGAIN for what i could potentially get for that...OMG. i MUST STOP THINKING ABOUT THIS. i'm driving myself insane. and i'm setting myself up for disappointment.
