So for the people without VIP passes, are people honestly going that early? 9 pm the day before? Or do we think it's safe to get there at like 3 in the morning and still have a good spot?

yup i will be there maybe 8pm tomorrow! so excited! i am nervous bc my parents will be pissed if they find out that i spent the night on a nyc street! i already have excused and i plan on stuffing my bed in the same manner as ferris bueller..LOL

I'm gonna go down there and check it out at around 4:30ish and stuff because I am short and need to be up front. :(

wow haha i dont think ill be there THAT early. i just finished making my arrangements. im talking the fung wah bus (which is a bus that goes from chinatown in boston to chinatown in new york for only $15) and then im spending the night at my 'guest's' cousins' apartment (my guest is my best friend emma who is as big a coldplay fan as me... just not as big of a stalker :P). i'm not sure where the apartment is so i dont know how early we will have to get up and leave. but i could care less!!

my train gets in to GCT at 5:50 AM, so...i'm thinking i'll check in at 6, and get settled in my spot around 6:15. that makes me nervous, but i cant get there any earlier.

 

angie, do you think there's any possible way you could kind of...make yourself obvious w(like tell us what your sign says or something) so some of us coldplayers that can't get there as early can gravitate towards you and a decent spot in the pen? that would be amazing if you would!!

i wish i knew what all of you looked like!! i know there will be awkward situations where ill approach someone and wonder... are they from coldplaying??? or just some nub who won from another competition??? haha we should just wear name tags with our usernames or soemthing!

I know! It seems like this pen is going to be mostly Coldplayers though. I mean, 25 of us in one place??

 

Should we make this a college facebook (no, not that Facebook) -esque thread and post our pictures so we can recognize everybody? :laugh4:

i'll be wearing jeans, a red "VIVA LA VIDA" shirt from MSG that my friend got for me, a black jacket like the one chris wore in the scientist video, red converse, and i have shortish brown hair and glasses. i'll also have a sign that says "the sky could be blue, could be grey, without IAN we'd be miles away!"

 

and i'll be with a tall guy, probably wearing a "CANADA" baseball hat, who is my brother :P

okay, okay, okay, okay I just got home and ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!AHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! Good thing, I got everything covered up for Friday. It's going to be a looooooooonggggggg Thursday and a loooooooonggggggggggggg Friday and yes a loooooooonnnnnnngggggg Saturday even but it's all gonna be worth it because I'M GONNA MEET JONNY FOR THE FIRST TIME!!!!!! If you guys see a girl with short hair climbing to the stage.. you can guess that it's me!:lol::lol::lol: I'll see you guys up in NYC and save me a spot! I don't know what I'll be wearing yet because I didn't get enough time to plan and design a shirt.. but I think I'll probably gonna be wearing my Coldplay shirt or end up making something at the last minute. This is so exciting! I can't wait! Thank you so much, Ian and Jen! I should probably get some rest now and try to sleep because whenever I get up tomorrow early morning I am so not gonna sleep until Sunday :wideeyed:
