iPlay181
I saw the movie Hot Fuzz a while back in '07, but I only caught the end of it. I recently watched it again, and recorded it. I have since fallen in love with the movie. I have watched it God knows how many times now and I am currently listening to Supergrass right now (They played at the credits of the movie). I love this movie, but I want to know how everyone else thought of it. I've showed it to all of my friends and they all loved it. So tell me your opinion of it. girl_in_the_band_tshirt
Great film (: I love Simon Pegg, I think he's a genius just on his own, but when he and Nick Frost get together, its just the best. Oh, you're an agnostic, then? ..I think I've got a cream for that! *grin* Have you seen Spaced?

RedGirl76
I love this movie!!! Actually it inspired a thread I started in The Lounge - "Confess Your Celebrity Weird Crush" That movie made me fall in love with Simon Pegg - which I thought was weird, but it turns out lots of other ladies feel the same way. Only one person on the thread has a sexy robot crush though!!!
blackchickintheback
I LOVE LOVE LOVE This movie! It's hilarious! And Simon Pegg looks good when he's all serious. :wink3: And it mentions my birthday! ahaha, that scene in the bar: Angel [Pegg]: You! When's your birthday? Red-head: 22nd of February. Angel: What year? Red-head: Every year! Angel: GET OUT! That has to be one of the best one-liners I've ever heard. :laugh3:
Cold_Huntress
I LOVE Hot Fuzz so much! I saw it in the theater when it came out and bought the DVD the day it came out! I'm a big Simon Pegg fan! :D They've been showing it on HBO lately so I've watched it a few times. It's on tonight so I'll probably watch it! :laugh3: DS Andy Wainwright: You do know there are more guns in the country than there are in the city. DS Andy Cartwright: Everyone and their mums is packin' round here! Nicholas Angel: Like who? DS Andy Wainwright: Farmers. Nicholas Angel: Who else? DS Andy Cartwright: Farmers' mums. :laugh3: I really love that scene! I actually really love the Andies! They crack me up so much! :laugh3:

Simon Pegg is just an amazing and hilarious actor, one of my faves ! I really like the scene when N. Angel arrives at the hotel and meets the old receptionist.
blackchickintheback
Yeah, the facist/hag scene is one of my favorites! And the part where they're sitting in the car looking at people. "Why do you think he's got that hat on?" "Coz he's fuck ugly."
Chavi
^Ahah! yeah, that's a good one ! and the cornetto is just classic ! we could go on and on with the quoting, that movie is simply awesome :D
clarice91
This has to be the best thread ever! Hot Fuzz and Shaun Of The Dead were hilarious! Simon Pegg is comedy gold_seriously! Has anyone seen Run Fat Boy Run? I haven't yet but i'm sure its gr8!
girl_in_the_band_tshirt
I went to see it :nice: Its seems like its got more heart in it than the others, but is still hilarious. Every single scene with Simon Pegg and Dylan Moran is just genius. -Hey I've got you those tickets you wanted... -They were for yesterday! -Oh so NOW you don't want them? -Why would I want them? -You could... sell them on e-bay. -Who would buy tickets for an event which happened yesterday? -...Time Travellers. Chavi
^that quote is hilarious !! I've never seen this film but I can imagine it very well ! which one's Simon Pegg in that conversation ?
girl_in_the_band_tshirt
Dylan Moran's character is trying to get Simon Pegg's character to take the day-old tickets :nice: There were so many great lines from that film too.. When Simon's character is out for his first jogging session.. [is hit with spatula - surprised] What are you doing here?! -I'm the assistant coach. -How'd you get to be assistant coach? -Because I have the spatula! [whacks him with it] -Go on then, run! -Isn't there some kind of like... special technique? -Well... yeah... you put one leg in front of the other over and over again really really fast. crazyduckette
I adore Hot Fuzz.... brilliant in every way!! Simon Pegg, also :wink3: I love Timothy Dalton's character.... "lock me up! I'm a slasher!!!!...........of prices" After the guy stole the biscuits and he didn't press charges, "that's the way the cookie crumbles I'm afraid" :laugh3: cheesy but good. :nice: I love it when the golden statue man is in the dungeons... ahhahahahaha! Also just love the cuts they use, like, similar to Shaun of the Dead. Really fast, quick, slamming things down kinda of shots.

blackchickintheback
"We sat through two hours of so-called acting, and that kiss was the only convincing thing in it." And I love how the play wasn't really the original Romeo and Juliet, but a spoof of that 90s movie with Leonardo Dicaprio. :P
brenda
Oh, man! I won't even call myself a real Simon Pegg as I haven't see Run, Fat Boy Run! I've been dying to, though. Does that count??
