I love cheese and potato pie. Layers of mashed potato and cheese, topped with grated cheese and stuck in the oven to melt and brown for half an hour. Lushness!

What's Shepards pie?

Pie made from Shepards....every year lots of shepards get lost looking for their flocks...so when they get found we cut up their bodies and make it into a pie :)

 

Nah just kidding...its a pie made from mince (ground up beef) with a layer of mash potato and cheese baked on top...

 

Oh and then there is Cornish pasties....pastry triangles with a savoury, sweet or meat filling...were consumed by Cornish tin miners....
