Featured Replies

The first book is Twilight, then New Moon, then Eclipse, then Breaking Dawn. Hope that helps. :)

And you guys probably already know this but Stephenie Meyer was working on a version of Twilight from Edward's point of view, but then it got leaked so I think she kind of stopped. It's on her website though. really interesting... the only problem is not enough hot Ed description to swoon over! only bella can do that :P

Yep, it (was going to be) called "Midnight Sun". I'm so sad that she stopped... hopefully she'll continue it, but I doubt it. :worried: It was so good, though!

I actually read an interview with Stephenie a few days ago and she talked about finishing the book maybe in a couple of years!! She is working on a book about mermaids next and then hopes to continue Midnight Sun!! YAY!!!

Only 10 more days until the movie!!!

I just bought the book. I'm gonna finish it tomorrow cuz it's a holiday.

SERIOUSLY?! Where did you find that out? :stunned:

They have not started filming New Moon yet because they were not sure they were going to do the sequels. But Summit just confirmed that they have the rights to New Moon and Eclipse!!!!

Los Angeles (E! Online) – What fanggirls want, fanggirls get.

While there's still a week to go before Twilight opens in theaters, producer Summit Entertainment is already sinking its teeth into more installments of the vampire romance, acquiring the rights to the next three novels in Stephanie Meyer's series.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the studio has also secured the services of Twilight screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg to pen New Moon and Eclipse, the second and third installments of the would-be blockbuster franchise.

Further ensuring squeals from the masses: Lead bloodsucker Robert Pattinson is also on board for the first three films.

The principals have not yet signed for the fourth installment, Breaking Dawn (SPOILER ALERT—the one where regular teen Bella and her vampire love, Edward, finally tie the knot), but presumably that fact is still a significant number of years away from being a worry.

Twilight opens—as if you needed reminding—Nov. 21.

AHH same. Actually I have 3 tests on Friday so there's no chance that I'll be going. I guess the Friday evening shows are good enough....:(

im going on the saterday midnight showing

i wanted to go friday but i cant

im so excited though!

I'm watching one of the late showings on Friday night with a bunch of my co-workers since all of them have read the book! I can't wait!

So who saw it?! :stunned:

I really really wanted to last night, but I couldn't. And I don't think I'll be able to tonight either. :\

Saw it at midnight.

Though I could forgive some aspects of the film, due to having low-budgets......overall I say stick with the book cause the movie is only good for eye-candy. :(

Actually forget that last part about eye-candy, unless you do want to just ogle at the actors. =D

And despite what I come across in that last post, I did like the movie and it had some good moments too (though mostly within the second half of the movie to the end). It all depends on how serious you take it and how much you want this film to be like the book.

^Well, I've already prepared myself for something totally unlike the book... and I'm mainly going to see it to enjoy it as a film, not to compare it to the book... although I will probably end up doing that anyway. :P

Ohhhh I don't think there's any way of preparing yourself for whats to come. :P

((LoL the second half will be acceptably okay, if you stick it through then)).
