well, something tells me there's a high probability of this march EP being high-grade martin BS because march is rather far in the future, but, if not...YAY!!!

 

though if i'm being picky, i'd like the EP in the late fall/winter, and then a new album in the late summer/fall of 2009 :P

What a great way to start my morning!

 

A few tidbits:

 

* Ryan mentioned that he liked the Starbucks joke (venti vs. grande) and Chris said he was glad because it is difficult to be funny in front of a whole bunch of people.

 

* Chris thought the Monday night encore was much better than the one on Tuesday.

 

* He didn't walk out when Ryan started asking personal questions. Ryan asked whether the family is with him when they are on the road and CM replied that given their busy schedules, sometimes they are together and sometimes not. Then he went on to say that sometimes when your father is a musician, it is better not to be around him for a couple of days.

 

* When some fans got on the phone with him, CM was very appreciative of their praise and said, "For reasons I cannot divulge this morning, this means a lot to me." (Something to that effect.)

that was a pretty awesome interview. seriously though Chris is probably the nicest guy in showbiz. i mean just hooking someone up with tickets. that is way too cool.

 

but....EP IN MARCH!!!!

 

I realized after hearing it that it doesn't mean nearly as much as I thought. That's a good eight months away. Then again I got college now, so maybe that time will fly. It didn't sound like bs to me if only because it wasn't like he was really being pressed for anything. I also don't think an EP would be big enough news to the mainstream public for him to lie about it. Another album would be huge news.

 

So yeah, hopefully its a legit EP, like maybe five or six songs...but probably not.

 

So yeah...b-sides anyone?

They played a video clip of the interview on E! News this evening; it was the part where Chris talks about his family and Miley Cyrus.

but i want to say one thing the people all around him gets too much into Chris's personal life.Even though its not that important for them to speak about it they will pressurize him to talk about that in some or some way and makes a big fuss about it all over on the internet while Chris want to keep it to himself.

I don't think I've ever seen him look more tired. Wow. From listening to the interview, I think he likes Seacrest. He didn't give to many "false" answers and it was a fairly normal conversation. I loved it when the woman said she loved his accent and then Seacrest asked what kind it was, Chris was SO quick to reply, "it's French". I'm not sure why but I thought that was SO funny.
