I have my confetti but I don't really care for physical things. If it would make you happy I'll send you some confetti from Brixton and the BBC (but only two pieces because I only have six or seven, and of course I have no idea which gig they came from now!!) Just ask :)

Daylight, Shiver, See You Soon, A Rush Of Blood To The Head, Moses, One I Love, Life Is For Living, Ladder To The Sun, Poor Me, Everything's Not Lost...:nice: 2002-2003 was just amazing to me.

No, but I'm designing shirts with prints based on an idea on the confetti from the concerts...hope they work out nice...:)

:laugh3::laugh3::laugh3::PI`ve had 2 projects in mind, knowing I have floor seats and will be rained upon! I`m gonna scoop up as much as I can!

 

1) I`m going to make a mobile to hang over the crib for my 2cnd grandbaby due in August, a girl, and her room is already being done in butterflies.

 

2) I`m going to try doing some laminating to preserve them and make them into Christmas ornaments, for Noah to keep forever.

 

3) I`m soon to give Martha Stewart a call to help with ideas for any left over!!

Keeping them on my night table.

I want to do something useful with them though...

In my infinite geekiness, I noticed something kinda odd about the butterfly-confetti-things...it looks like there's at least 2 kinds. Two of the ones I have here are smooth and plasticky, but the other two are rough and papery, and also partly transparent. Was this for a lighting effect, or something? :confused:

Well according to what I lived I would say there are like 3 sorts :D

1st time appeared the LITTLE ones (white / blue / red, didn't keep any red ones)

2nd time big ones (blue / violet (/ ?))

3rd time big fluorescent ones (yellow / green / pink)

Hey you have coloured little ones... did we French only received blue, white and red ones cause it's our flag colors ? Would be fun :D though I got mines during a promo show so maybe they hadn't printed some butterflies yet.

I caught a good bunch at Brixton, and when I got to the hotel, it turned out I had so many more.... caught great bunch with my lady assets :laugh3:

 

we totally examenated the floor for every color! I love the purple ones, I put them on the cover of my agenda so I see them everyday and that makes me smile! I also have a box full.. not sure what I'm going to do with it, maybe if i'm front row in rotterdam I'll throw some back at them before they can! mmm I should bring a fan or something...

 

We had a great laugh after the concert when we tried to pay for OUr T-shirts with confetti, and told the girl they would be worth millions! also tried to pay for kebab, but these people just didn't understand the value I guess..

The flags of britain and usa are also red white and blue....

I think it has to do with lighting, the fluorescent ones only work with the proper lighting, that was probably not available or something.

 

^You're right about the fluorescent ones, they must only work with blacklight or something like this cause the venue isn't actually dark when they arrive but kinda blue

 

 

 

Haha, I know, I'm always too shy too!! I usually think 'why is that girl pestering the band for an autograph so rudely?' and I never can myself. And then she gets the autograph and the photo with Chris and the guys, and I go home with my piece of one or two pieces of confetti..oh well :D
