sound really lame now when you listen to it? when it first came out, i was truly obsessed with this track. i love it so much. played it all the time. i thought i'd never get sick of it.

 

now after hearing all of coldplay's other songs now i don't find it has the power it once had! lol.

 

am i alone when i say this?

Well Clocks sounds this way to me :( cos it's so overplayed. Used to give me goosebumps everytime I listened to it... but it's still "powerful" :cool:

nope, I still love it! Although I prefer it live or acoustic :)

i thought it sounded bad when i first heard it (too slick and unnatural compared to the old live versions), then i grew to like it, then couldn't stand it, now it's just ok. not one of my favorite coldplay songs anyway.

That's how I feel about Clocks now. It's still a great song but I can't stand to listen to it anymore.

After nearly a year of AROBTTH, I can safely say that the best two tracks are Politik and GPASUYF. The end. :D

Well, I also love warning sign, but it's for calm moments. But I love 'God put' and 'Clocks' because it makes me move and jump through my home... :cool:

I still enjoy In My Place. I thought it kinda sounded weird though when they first started playing the song in there live sets. It brings a whole different feel to it without the guitar.

i didn't "love" it when it came out so now it definitly sounds better. i think it really works live with that big "YEAH"s from the crowd

yeah it rawks live me thinks :) the whole crowd makes it better too

ever been to a live concert and they played this song? if so then you'll know what we mean :P

Unfortunately I've never been to one of there concerts (i wish that wasn't true) but I've seen lots of their performances of In My Place in MPEG format and yeah seems like EVERYBODY! (even in the cheap seats) sings it. :P

nah tv is way more diffrent then actually being there trust me..its just the euhmm how to you call it... atmosphere !!!while they play that song!!! its hard to discribe

I still love In My Place... but it's not one of my fav songs from AROBTTH - Politik or A Rush of Blood are my favourites ... for now! :wink3:
