What a lame excuse!!:P

I was still scared of talking to you at that time... so probably you didn't pay much attention to me and my constant rambling. :laugh4:

some potential dresses...

second is the most sexy, third is the most classy. it depends on what you want to get across to this guy, but those are my two favorites :D

would the second one be too dressy for just a pub, though?

I'm sure whatever you wear, Mari, the guy will love you. :nice:

And do you think he would want to "Mari" her??

Aww Annie, very nice of you. but he used to see me every day and was not smitten by my lovely self... at least I don't think so.

And I think I'd go for more sexy, as I'm usually wearing something along the 'classic' line or just the fun and happy line. maybe he needs sexy to see me!!! :wink3::wink3:

(that will come out sooo wrong).

And it might be dressy for a pub, but since we'll be clubbing afterward's I think I could be excused...

(i'm still in love wth the last oneeeeee :bigcry:)

I think I might check if they have it instore and see how it looks live.

I'm scared it might be slightly too short, as most of the things at Miss Selfridge.

but thank youu :)

I will try to post tomorrow or staurday what i finally wore!

Where's the first one from?

The second one is amaazing! Might be way too dressy if you only go to the pub though. Guys might end up making stupid comments haha. Four sounds good for this occasion.

Oh and I'm the same sooo sick of studying. But I'm going to the library to revise in like an hour.

Well, the second and last one are my favourite. But as Sally said, the second one might seem a bit dressy for a pub.

I'd go with the last one if I were you. It's quite lovely.

So, I went to miss selfridge today and saw all the dresses live.

the second one is too dressy and they didn't have it my size...

The last one, the one I was in love, is indeed very cute, but just cute. He's seen me cute, so I needed something different.

yesterday I didn't manage to get the image of this one last night, but I really liked it. and when I saw it today I liked it even more as the colour is less blue and more purplelish, so I got it!!!

So now the dilemma is: what to pair it up with (shoewise)?

3 options:

1. Black tights and my all black Oxfords

2. black tights and my classic black flats with golden buckle

3. No tights and my golden peep toe (note that the dress has a slight golden detail)

flats are by far the most comfy, but less classy and sexy.

Oxfords are fine if they dont kill my little feet

golden peep toe probably makes the best outfit, but it's been around 0 degrees at nights, so no tights will be freeeeeeeeeeeeeezing!!!!

so... whatcha think?

Where's the first one from?

.

that one is from New Look...

golden peep toe, i think, even though i know it'll be freezing :\

but i LOVE the dress! i'm currently lusting after one in a similar color. i need a dress for a christmas party later in the month, and i fell in love with two from my mom's store:

i'm thinking the purpley one, assuming its in stock. i could wear black riding boots with either, right?

I think you will be fine with the boots.

I'd probably pick something lighter... like court shoes or oxfords, but i think they go with the boots.

And my dress is JUST that purple!!!!!

And i know about the peep toe. it would prob look gorgeous.

can I wear tights and peep toes, people that live in winter countries? I'm not aware if that's like a fashion no-no!!

That depends. What exactly are peep toes people that live in winter countries??

I personally wouldn't do it.

I really need to go shopping myself. I'm invited to a Christmas dinner next week and I think it's in a quite expensive restaurant. Haven't got a clue what to wear. Also it's in Sunderland so I have to get on a train and I'm not sure if I can get changed when I get there.:embarassed:

You shouldn't worry about it. I don't think people in Sunderland dress up to go to restaurants!!:P

Mari, that's a beautiful dress! Hmmm maybe not peep toes....You can balance the sexy with some mary janes? But black tights and your black oxfords would be a nice mix, i think.

Chelsea, both dresses are cute! But I wouldn't wear your boots with that black dress, it's too much black, since your boots are a little higher up the leg, it might be too much black at once. That's just me though, perhaps another black shoe that's lower if it need be all black! As for the purple dress, the dress might be too dressy for casual riding boots. But you should try them on together anyways.

Ever been there?

People around here do.

Ever been there?

Can't say I have............................

People around here do.

Yes, but that's Liverpool!!:P

Why do you dislike the place then?

Did I say that??
