you really should consider you lucky... there's many places that haven't been included in any coldplay tour ... and the fans from those countries deserve too see them so much as you do!

 

Believe me, WE DO(most of us)consider ourselves lucky!:) And definitely understand you guys deserve to see them!!!...we need to clone Chris, Guy, Jonny, and Will!!!:P (Pls don't think all US fans think the same!:confused:)

Well, I for one think they need to do a concert in Antarctica! Now those poor souls get neglected!! And maybe a Pacific Rim tour - covering the waterfront and volcanic spots on the globe... Plus, those peoples in mother Russia would love to see them, and since the Beatles went there, it's a definite must.

Uhm some newspapers and radios here began stating that they're trying to convince them to come and play in San Siro (the football stadium in Milan) next summer, since the request of tickets for the last two dates was really high...but apparently they said they could only come in September and in that month the football championship is already started, so no chance at all

 

I guess it would be easier for them to come and play again in Verona, since they really loved the Arena, and Miller mentioned an ancient bullring in the Mediterranean Sea in one of his blogs :nice:

I hope they will come, but actually it's very small chances. Because of organisation of concerts in Russia, really very poor level and very big fee. Usual price is double compare to Europe and US. Madonna complains about her concert in 2006, she never came again to Russia. Like U2, Radiohead, Coldplay and other great bands.

Actually, Beatles NEVER played in USSR. Never. It's a myth.

Antarctica would be a fabulous idea. no one particular country owns it, so they couldn't be accused of bias.

I think they'll do a European Summer tour with some festivals and some standalone dates like for example R.E.M. did this summer. So maybe festivals like Rock Werchter or Roskilde or something like that and otherwise some open air concerts in places like Amsterdam's Westerpark or Berlin's Wuhlheide or something.

I live in Italy but I grew up in LA and I was supposed to go one of the Hollywood Bowl concerts in '03 but I couldn't so I'd really love to see them there next year :D

Coldplay Announce Japanese Tour Dates For February 2009

 

The first dates of Coldplay's 2009 tour have been announced via Coldplay.com. They are playing three shows in Japan in February. There will undoubtably therefore be speculation that Coldplay will be playing Australasia around the same time.

 

The three Coldplay shows confirmed for February 2009 are:

 

Feb 12th - Tokyo, Saitama Super Arena
