August 13, 200817 yr I HATE THE JONAS BROTHERS. :P i won't tell you to like them or not, but i really dont. don't see them live!! wait until coldplay comes to your town and see them!! $1200 dollars? the only band i'd pay $1200 dollars to see is coldplay.
August 13, 200817 yr I think if you like them that's up to you. Don't let people tell you not to like them. How is that any different from people telling us that Coldplay is gay and we shouldn't listen to them?
August 13, 200817 yr By what I know of/have seen of the jonas brothers...ten bucks is too much. Just me, but I find them to be no more than an annoying disney manufactured mediocre teen sensation that don't contribute anything to modern music. Just keepin it real....
August 14, 200817 yr Regardless of whether they're worth seeing or not (obviously a lot of people think they are), $1200 for a ticket is absurd. Someone's trying to rip you off. Who's selling these tickets?
August 14, 200817 yr my little cousin just went and she sent me a pic There's more about the show here too: http://buzzworthy.mtv.com/2008/08/09/the-hamptons-the-jonas-brothers-rule-the-school/
August 14, 200817 yr What's with everything being so fuzzy except for the label on the bottle? merchandizing? lol.
August 15, 200817 yr Strange. But the label is funny. Anyway, $1200 seems like a lot for any musician, whether you like them or not. You'll probably get good seats, but unless they are phenomenal live, I would look for a cheaper seat. I don't even think I like Coldplay THAT much.

That's more than tickets for the Led Zep reunion were going for on the black-market
August 15, 200817 yr Of course they didn't charge regular fans $1200 for a ticket. It was to raise money for a school in the Hamptons. http://www.observer.com/2008/style/jonas-brothers-invade-hamptons-ali-lohan-nonplussed Like their teen fanbase can really afford $1200 :dozey:

For a moment I thought the touts were charging $1200 per ticket
October 11, 200817 yr :laugh3: Sadly, my best friend doesn't feel the same way as we do... she thinks they're the best think that ever happened to the world. Ugh. I really try to not be opinionated, but really. Sometimes I just can't stand some people's taste in music. yeah, I feel the same I also have a completely different musical taste from my best friend. But however, we have lots of fun together!
October 11, 200817 yr OH GOD!! We actually have a thread dedicated to these ppl that call themselves musicians...I give them and Miley Cyrus 3 yrs tops before they are COMPLETELY washed up!!
