One thing i learned is that lies destroy a relationship so i always try to be honest but i guess i had bad luck with the ladies cos i always got lies in return ( not with this girl i'm talking about but with others) Oh well, that's life, right?

Yes... and it's important not to delude yourself into thinking things are one way when they're really another. Like that fact that you can admit that you're afraid to fall in love again (instead of, for example, blaming it on other people) will help you resolve things more easily.
