I wish the NHS was like that, instead of having to pay £8.00 to get any drugs from over the counter, and with the doctors all being in the pay of the drugs companies to get people onto expensive drugs.

I'm tired Carla :(

Most of the drugs are here for free (most of antibiotics and painkillers), you need to have a doctor and he/she prescribes it and you go to pharmacy and just take them.

Well the whole country (Croatia) is shit , at least one thing has to be good and that's health care system.

Well that's a REALLY good thing ;)

I've never really understood how your health care sistem works.... over here we've got Seguro Social (Social Security) which you get automatically when you

a. Are a child and one of your parents has a job

b. Are a student

C. Have a job

So if you get sick, you just go to one of their hospitals, and the check up+x ray+medication are free.... the only time you have to pay is when it's things they can't provide..... The only thing is that they are public so it usually takes a while for a doc to get to you, 'cause theres usually a ton of people waiting :\

Well I mean I'm not an expert on it so I don't think I could really explain it (partially because I don't understand it all either) but basically it's pretty unaffordable unless you have good insurance coverage, which is hard to get if you don't have a job or if you have major health problems. It's confusing and isn't really very logical...

Here is almost the same. But unemployed have health care too, they have to register that they seek for job and country pays.

Here all hospitals are public, you can go to doctor that has private practice but they are usually specified (cardiologist etc.). Hospitals are not great, machines are not the newest, but they are good. And the whole system is great so...

Its hard for me to explain cause my English is not that good.

We need a picture of that!! :nice:

Let's see if my bucket works....

Piccies!

our healthcare system used to be great.. but they changed it, and now it's less great, but I still have nothing to complain about..

I have to pay about 150 euro's a month to get whatever health care I need, if I'd get really sick or whatever everything would be covered, but if you get small things you still have to pay for it yourself so that's kinda weird.. and I alwasy feel like if I stay healthy and just save up 150 euros per month I'd be able to pay for anything myself  that's probably not true though, and you just never know what might happen

Same here, but there is a charge for prescriptions

Not here. But they are trying to make some new laws for health care and make it more European so we'll probably have that in matter of days.

Girls, I'm off to bed.. Will be back in only 7 hours so that will be a short night sleep (if I can sleep with all the excitement  )

Talk to you soon!

Edit: Pris those pictures are awesome! You are so creative, I love it!
