The only concert I have coming up is Flight of the Conchords in April, I love those sugalumps but it's not the same as Coldplay.

I really hope they put out a NY area date. Jones Beach hasn't released its summer lineup yet with the exception of the Phish concerts.

*sigh* I was so sure New York would be one of the dates announced on Friday...I see some people on this thread say there is some hope left, but what are the chances it will happen? I mean I don't want to beg my parents to go to Mansfield only for them to wind up coming here anyway, but I don't want to miss the chance to get Mansfield tickets if they definitely aren't!

 

Surely someone from the Coldplay camp could let us know if these are the absolute last North American dates of the Viva tour, right?

Boo, no NY...we're like the second largest state in terms of population, right? So why not? Living in Upstate NY I was hoping for something in Buffalo, Rochester, or Syracuse, but I would have gladly made the trip to NYC. But NO, now I have to cross the border and go to Toronto. Which isn't too bad...but I'm worried about getting tickets. :\

that would be wonderful, the waiting is just the Hardest Part. i feel lucky i have been able to see them. so many people have not, which is sad. all coldplayers should be able to enjoy them.

it really makes me sad with these pre-sales. why can't they just come back!?!? the thing that pisses me off is that there tour managment knows how much we want them back. and yet they put shows in random places. UGHHHHH PISSES ME OFF!!

I go to Geneseo... a little south of Rochester (only about 20 minutes though!)

I would love to go to the Toronto show but I will probably be at home on Long Island for the summer so it would be too far from there and I wouldn't be able to miss so many days of work. :cry:

Well, Coldplay did have a concert in New York City. It was on June 23rd in the Madison Square Garden, and it was free.

 

They also had two sold out concerts in East Rutherford, NJ @ the Izod Center in October 2008, and to be honest with you, the Izod Center is within "walking distance" from anywhere in New York City... well at least in Manhattan. :P

Susquehanna Bank Center (formerly the Tweeter Center) in Camden, NJ is probably the best outdoor venue around the Philly area. I wonder why they're not playing it, honestly. Saw them there back during the Twisted Logic Tour.

nothing, i get google alerts, i roam the music blogs, i go to the venue websits for calendar dates but nothing, bumming.............

U2 announces a tour next monday. so coldplay better announce it in between then. Or U2 will have my heart
