July 26, 200322 yr  That's hilarious Nothing...and I mean nothing...is cheesier than bride of Chucky though :D
July 26, 200322 yr Author That's incorrect SILENT NIGHT, EVIL NIGHT 5: THE TOYMAKER ....is way cheesier than Bride Of Chucky. haha
July 29, 200322 yr  Jean Claude Van Damme my careers over Movies are frightening too :stunned: :D
August 5, 200322 yr It's not the blood and all that that makes it scary.. Some of the scariest movies I've ever seen hardly had any of that in them (The Others, The Mothman Prophecies, The Sixth Sense, etc).. Umm yeah, don't know how to explain it right now, really :\
August 5, 200322 yr i think the less noticable things in scary film's are what makes them scary!! like in the 6th sense when they are walking by the classroom and the people are hanging in the background!!!! :o ;)
August 5, 200322 yr This probably won't make much sense, but I'll give it a shot anyway. It's the psychological things more than the physical effects. :/
August 5, 200322 yr yeah that's very true - makes sense to me anyway! scary parts of films play on my mind after i watch them, even at the time they may not seem scary but afterwards, especially when i'm just about to go to sleep, the psychological effects kick in and then it's like,..... pull up covers... sleep with one eye open :o
August 5, 200322 yr awwww :P yeah i hate the way after you watch a *supposidly* scary film and all the horrible parts stay in your head (that's literally just the same as what hayley just said!!  ) sowwy :P
August 6, 200322 yr i think a scary movie should have an eerie silence feel to it. have anyone seen The Ring? I'm not talking about the Hollywood version but the Original Japanese Version. The audio effects are not that grand but what really strikes me is how quiet and dark the atmosphere is, and then all of a sudden Sadako would just :o crawl out of the tv with those hideous eyes and bloody and rotting hands. It worked for me and i couldn't stare at a switched off tv for days :)
August 6, 200322 yr yeah the jap ring was eerie but the american one had the eerieness too and i liked the way they didn't go with most of the scary film trends like when a door is opened and then shut you expect someone to be behind it!!!! :P that's what seperated the ring from other scary films! :)
August 6, 200322 yr OOoooooooh RING! COOL film!! Ive seen 1 & 2, need to see 0, but am awaiting a DVD trilogy of
August 6, 200322 yr aww..still wanna see it though. Oooh old scary films are the best, i've got this old obscure one called Carnival of Souls :stunned: It's verrrrry bizarre and eerie!
August 6, 200322 yr  can't say i've heard of it! i love the omen  even though it's rediculously bad!!!! ;)
August 6, 200322 yr yeah hardly anyone's heard of it!!! :D the Omen IS crap! lol i like The Shining!!! oooh there's a freaky film..i never tire of it too, it's great ;)

The only one that disappointed me more, was Signs. That was just boring.
August 6, 200322 yr yeah sign's was awful!!! but although the jap ring wasn't scary i don't think it was dissapointing!! :)
August 6, 200322 yr I think it was, cause everyone was going on about how scary it was, and, well.. It wasn't.
