I was in my italian class a week ago and our teacher told us we had to buy an especial folder, so i bought it. It cost me 50 pesos...

and i left it under my desk and i couldn't get it back!!!

i had to buy another one!!! :inquisitive: and it cost me 50 pesos again :(

Jajajaja, 50 pesos??? Que folder tan caro! :stunned:

eeeeemmm...well, I lost my book The Catcher in the Rye on a plane, but by some strange and wonderful miracle it came back to me. :)

...but once I did loose 20 dollars...

Time heals all wounds.. Yes, I hear and feel for you, but whenever something happens like that to me, I remember what I heard a veteran of the Normandy invasion say once when asked a question about some minor problems he was having in life -"as long as nobody is shooting at me, and I don't have to shoot back at anybody, everything else in life is really no big deal." Immediately it's a headache and a frustration, but when you reflect on it a bit, you'll manage, and life goes on - forgive yourself! Life goes on, and the little bumps are in Bono's words "just a moment - this time will pass"..

What I know to be true of myself - it helps to have routines to put things in place, so I'm less likely to get lost in thought and forget something.. But forgetting is actually a sign of great intelligence, since your mind's focus is somewhere else.

I lost my life and couldn't get it back :shame:

I lost my mobile phone on a night out about three weeks ago. I still don't have all the numbers.

i lost my cross pendant about a month ago. :(

i got it for christmas a few years ago. it meant something to me because my mum gave it to me.

i noticed it on the way back home from a birthday. it sucks so bad. :\ it was a beautiful cross, too!

I could make a joke about losing my dignity (it involved a public display of my underwear ), but instead I'll tell you about my favourite pair of earrings.

Several times in the past, one had gone missing (always in my house), but it always turned up. Then one day I it fell out at work (I am a teacher). I put up posters (they're cheap earrings but have incredible sentimental value), got the kids looking for them, but nothing turned up... somehow, I never worried because I knew it would turn up. All of my colleagues thought I was crazy.

... four days later, after four mopings of the floor and several hundred kids running down the corridor, a pupil came in to my room and said "Miss, I found an earring, it's not that one you lost last week is it?"

It was! My faith had been repaid!

I lost one of my friends. And not in the way that you can win them back, but in the way that they're...er...dead.

I know how to ruin a happy place, don't I?

Well, it's okay. His cancer came back, and we all sort of knew he wasn't going to make it this time.

I'm sorry Emily :(

Emily :bigcry: aw

Well I lost my mind, and despite my attempts I cannot seem to acquire a new one

I lost all of the play counts on my iTunes the other week. That was annoying as fuck.

I don't. I decided to get one on January 1st so it'll be cool to see at the end of each year what the past calendar year been like musically. Yup yup.

Naw, sorry. But here's three ferrets in a basket.

It just occurred to me that you asked someone living over 3000 miles away if they had a ferret that they're willing to give to you. Yes, I will send one across the Atlantic in a box, JUST FOR YOU. :P
