It's a terrible thing to have to bear a broken heart. Poor Vin, you must be going through Hell at the mo.

 

I used to think my heart had been broken many times, until it was for real. I didn't know what hit me and I couldn't function normally for weeks. I cried all the time, was irritible, got ill and eventually thought I'd got over it. And then I saw him again and it just set me off again. But there's a happy ending to MY story - after about 9 months we started seeing each other again! There's a song by Reef which summed it up: 'Been down, but I've come back brighter'!

10? or 20? HAHAHAHA. nahh kidding. That is very true what you said, you come back tweice as smart after you're heart is broken, I've seen it happen.

You almost have to develop a tough skin to protect yourself. I swore I would never do that, but it's almost inevitable in order to survive. I agree - mental torment is far worse than physical torture.

:embarrased: My "story" is similar to yours Laura..only this headcase, she led me on...and on....and on....to thinking things would "work out" (i now loathe that phrase" then at the last minute she drops the megaton bomb deathblow of "I just can't put you first in my life right now" (?!?!?!) .........bahhh...i actually really quickly got over it, very quickly, because well, i've realised she aint worth it, and she's the one missing out, because i have a lot to offer as a person, a "real" person....bahhh...well that's that :o :)
