My sister just got me into Andrew Bird recently. <3

I remember seeing a thread started about him and 06 and I didn't even bother! Figured I was probably too obsessed with Coldplay or Muse to even care. :rolleyes:

Yeah, his whole Noble Beast album is now on my top ten favorite albums of all time list... it's insane. I'm listening to it now and it gets better with every listen. not many things can do that! The man is brilliant

I got to see him live at the All Points West festival this past august and he was Great live! Although I haven't really gotten into a big phase with his music I could definety imagine myself doing so.

Andrew with Yo Yo Ma... check it out! Beautiful little performance. The man has definitely leapt to my current top five. His music is... just... colors, words, feelings, emotions and all of those other wonderful things in life

Revisiting because Andrew's album is awesome and more people should give him a try! ;) I almost got to see him in concert but he had to cancel *sigh*

He's opening for Death Cab For Cutie, who I'm seeing in July, so I'm going to have to start listening to his music more!

I was on an airplane last week and they had a radio channel completely devoted to Andrew Bird. I listened to about 12 songs by him, and they were all lovely.

I really wish I knew more Andrew Bird when I saw him open for Death Cab for Cutie this summer! I didn't pay enough attention to him then, and I only started getting into his music AFTER the concert.

 

I'm absolutely obsessed with Fake Palindromes right now. It's quite possibly the most brilliant song ever. :heart:

It's really awesome because if you purchase a concert ticket you'll get the new album as a free download as well as 2 live EP's... definitely worth it considering how great he is live!
