the multimedia section isn't members only, unless the policy has changed. before i was a member here, i used that section exclusively to download b-sides. then one day i had a question so i signed up here to post it, and the rest is history. :D

:stunned: Are you serious? cause then Ian lied to us and he´s the big boss here! :P A while ago, in the interpol thread of the music section somebody posted the link to the leaked new album and Berrywoman erased it, then we said, but there´s a lot of albums in the multimedia section?!! So, she consulted with Ian and he said we were allowed but only in the multimedia section... so you see, that has to be private, or it was private the last time I cheked... :P

 

oh and thanks for the idea of laminated postacards. I really wanted to look like a real postcard but then I see it seems no possible...:(

the policy may have changed since early 2006, but i could definitely use multimedia as a non-member. that's why i joined up here in the first place :P

and if no one but us can see multimedia, then why can't we post coldplay leaks in there?

 

anyway, it's a non-issue now. the address will be publically posted, and after our project is over, debs is keeping the PO box open as the *new* fanmail address, so it basically HAS to be publically announced :D

 

everybody check in on monday, since we'll be definitely getting the address then :D

I just got back from out of town and I was sad because I thought I'd be expecting the address here. :(

 

But its okay since I will have more time to do another postcard (my original plan was to send one and its all ready)

 

Anyway, Hooraay for Debs and all the Coldplay team for everything they have done for us.

 

By the way, someone was asking how long Debs has been here. She has been a member since April 2006. If she is lurking, we never know.. But I think she's an extremely busy person and we should all be grateful that she gave time for us. Big hug to Debs Wild ^_^

 

Oh and I used a clear sticker paper the size of a postcard to prevent my printed card from smudges. ;) When are we showing off our postcards? I want to see everyone's art! ^_^

however, i just found out that i *probably* won't be able to come on here tomorrow anymore. i was planning to drive home on tuesday for thanksgiving, but it seems like it's going to snow tuesday, so i'm probably leaving monday instead and will be on the road for 90% of the day. if this is the case, i'll ask lore with her mod abilities to edit the first post of the rules and guidelines thread and all will be well :D

 

as for a thread to show off the postcards, i suppose i could just make that now! it wouldn't hurt, at least, and i bet lots of people have theirs close to ready anyway.

No worries, the PO Box will become THE address for any mail for the future now, it's long overdue. Anyhow, there will be no personal replies as you say but people can send any mail to the address (I will give it to you on Monday).

I will always say that we don't accept gifts. The boys are in such a great position through their work to afford anything they need or want so it's always nice to think that people are donating to their chosen charity for a cause that needs it, so hopefully I won't be getting presents at the PO Box as they will be donated to charity too!

oh yes, the snow is tomorrow, and it wasn't even going to be all that bad. i just wanted to go home early, and not risk being stuck in anything, since it's a really long drive :p
