January sounds fine, so everyone will have time to send their postcards... maybe people should try to stop sending postcards around late december, having around a month to send postcards it's ok I think :)...

when I sent the letter today I asked about how much time does it take to deliver it and they told me that 7 days... I don't believe them but still... you should ask in any post office :)

Postcards From Far Away - Ok for postcards to arrive AFTER Dec. 1?

 

Hello all...I'm in NYC and wondering when's the latest the postcards can get to the PO box address by?...I may not be able to send it from NYC until Dec. 1....any thoughts?...MUCH APRRECIATED!

Ok so... I collect them in person (that was my choice) and it's so close to where I live it's not a problem. It's Cheshire technically for those who were interested and I am seeing them on the 11th & 12th but that's not giving enough time so why not make it sometime in January? They'll be working even before they leave to go on tour so I can pay them a visit...

 

this sounds perfect to me! :D i think we just have yet to set a final STOP MAILING date in stone, whicih i assume will be in mid-late december, and then in early-mid january, you can pay them a visit with the cards whenever fits your schedules.

let's wait for more opinions... I don't think we'll need an exact date... just a guide to send the postcards in time :) like "Debs will give the postcards to the guys in this day: ____ so if you want to send a postcard make sure to send it enough days before to deliver it in time"

i agree on waiting for more opinions, but i think we should set SOME date for people to stop sending by. people are confused enough already, and i can hear the deluge of PMs now: "if debs is giving the cards to the guys on _____, when should i send mine? i live in _____." :lol:

 

i think it would just be helpful to a lot of people for us to say "send your card by _____." i think if we leave it indefinite, we'll just be asked when the deadline is over and over. and some of the more procrastinaty coldplayers might leave it too long and never get cards in :P
