Why not ask Debs for a rough estimate of when she's going to hand the over. Obviously the last time she'll be able to pick up is the Monday before that date so make the stop date a week before that.

As she's going to use the PO Box permenantly, if there are any late arrivals she can always pass them on at a later date.

I agree with Alison about the stop date.

I'd like to thank Debs for helping us out with this.

My postcards are in the process of being created but as I've had flu for over a week, I haven't finished them yet.

don't worry, you still have time

and I also agree with Alison

I wish my boss would listen to me as much as you guys!

  • Author

he should listen to you, you help a lot and you've got some great ideas too!

debs already said that it was up to us entirely, and that she will pay the guys a visit in early january to drop off the cards if that's when we wanted her to do it :D (she's visiting them on december 11 and 12, she said, but that's much too soon). i think the ball is in our court now...i'm all for late december for the STOP date :D

wait..... late december for the stop-sending or the hand out???

i'm so confused.......... :\

I have to admit that I have no postcards yet, I haven't had time to venture into the tourist-y parts of DC and hunt some down! So I suppose the later the stopping-point, the better :\ So do we have a definite date yet? It's harder for me to procrastinate when there's a set date :P

haha, exactly--i think lots of people are less likely to procrastinate if we set an actual deadline for sending.

Hey guys! So we the stop for sending cards is late December?

I've been thinking about them all the time, and I have so much else to do, so it would be really nice to just know the date!

i think i'm going to post december 22 in the first post as the stop date, and then i'll change it/remove it if people disagree

i'm getting too many questions about the stop date in my PM box

Haha, ok!

Just want to say that you're doing an amazing job on this project Chelsea! *bows for you*

Hahaha, I see !

Well, it's working I guess :)!

is it too late?

kill me, but i had absolutely no idea this was happening.

Nope, you've still got time, we haven't confirmed the stop date yet (and the PO Box doesn't open til tomorrow anyway)

Time to get your thinking cap on...

Oh dear,I know!!!

Even if I send it out from NY around wednesday this week?

I shouldn't think mail from the US will take that long, and I think the cut off date will be sometime at the end of December.

Don't panic!

Too late!!

Major panic over here. My dog is looking at me like I'm some sort of psycho :uhoh:

haha, anna, you're FINE! throw a postcard in the mail sometime before december 22 and all will be well :nice:. i'd just say do it as soon as possible to ensure it gets there in time :D

okay.

Man, westchester is boring. what the heck kind of picture am I going to use?

edit: I forgot, this is a question thread.

And i'll probably end up drawing something.

eh, even lore and i have completely disregarded the fact that this thread was originally for questions . i think the other thread has dropped off the face of coldplaying :P.

and since fairfield county looks pretty much the same as westchester county, i had a similar dilemma, which is why i made both of mine. i bet you're a hell of a lot better at drawing than i am, too :D
