Anyway, back on topic.

 

I've always thought people were getting too excited/carried away about how Deb might report back to us. I always just imagine a "You sent 100 postcards, the boys thought they were lovely" kind of thing...

 

But then it occured to me this morning: why is it going to take her until the end of the week to just leave a quick post? That must mean "technology issues" like picking out photos or editing a video...

 

exactly :wink:. until debs reported back sometime last month saying she had something up her sleeve, i refused to believe we'd get any more than a note back from her. but then she said she had a plan and people got all excited...so i started to, too :bomb:. now with what she said on thursday and the email lore got yesterday, it's pretty much certain that there's SOMETHING awesome coming our way simply because it's taking so long--i'm thinking it's a video or longish blog post on the website, something that she would have to get website-techies (or perhaps video-editors?) to do. i'm basically trying not to explode in anticipation, and i told myself i'd never get to this point.

 

The trailer for Slumdog Millionaire with Hoppipolla by Sigur Ros is a masterpiece of a trailer. Seriously, best trailer I have ever seen. The movie is a masterpiece, as well.

 

i knowww :bigcry:. hoppipolla is one of my favorite songs in the world anyway, and the trailer is fabulous in itself, as i think the movie is too. i have a weird affinity for trailers in general, though--i think they can be an artform in themselves, in all seriousness :P

i did post the coverletter, which i printed on official project letterhead :P. i think it's in the "show off your postcards" thread, if i'm not mistaken :D.

 

however, i completely forgot to scan/take a picture of the letter i handwrote from all of us to debs before i sealed it in the envelope :embarassed:
