I haven't seen any of the Oscar nominees, it's so annoying. I just haven't had time! I'm absolutely dying to see Slumdog Millionaire, but whenever I try to go with friends our plans fall through :disappointed: Maybe I'll try to see it tomorrow :thinking:

The trailer for Slumdog Millionaire with Hoppipolla by Sigur Ros is a masterpiece of a trailer. Seriously, best trailer I have ever seen. The movie is a masterpiece, as well.

We haven't got that trailer over here - just one where they butcher "The Sun Always Shines On TV" by A-ha, with an edit that sounds like it's been done by a four year old.:angry:

I've always thought people were getting too excited/carried away about how Deb might report back to us. I always just imagine a "You sent 100 postcards, the boys thought they were lovely" kind of thing...

 

But then it occured to me this morning: why is it going to take her until the end of the week to just leave a quick post? That must mean "technology issues" like picking out photos or editing a video...

Well I got back from London earlier and all I will tell you at this moment is....

The postcards were delivered yesterday and it was AMAZING!!

 

They were SO chuffed. I promise there will be a lot more news on this subject but not right now. Bear with me...
