i got a postcard from my friend in sweden today, and it reminded me of the project :D

here we have a "fan club".. but it's not like the typical fan club..

 

I mean, we all love Coldplay but we're friends now (we spent too much time together stalking Coldplay when they came here)... they're really nice people :nice:

it's on my reading list, which is sooo long when i'm at uni :sad:

 

most of my favorite authors and books are really contemporary, though. i'm a HUGE ian mcewan fan (and am going to his university next year with a chance to work with him, perhaps!)

 

@lore: should we set a deadline for people to submit logos by? i feel like we should start voting on them like, tuesday at the latest. i think things are going to start moving pretty fast when/if we get a response from debs.

I highly suggest that you start with "Code of the Woosters", and go from there, seeing as he's written over 90 books. That one is incredible!

 

I think Monday's a good deadline. It's a holiday weekend in the US, so that gives our American users a chance to work :)

yeah, definitely. and another thread to vote for how we deliver them? because i'm a geek, i have an MSword document explaining the plans as we know them and listing the pros and cons of each one for easy voting :D

my high school (and middle school and elementary school, for that matter) was called wooster, so i have an unusual attatchment to the name :D

I didn't notice this post, sorry! I think that poll should wait until we get a response from Debs, since she may offer a perfect solution (e.g. an address), or shoot all of our plans down...
